WOOSTER, OHIO – The 60 Plus Association, nationally recognized as the conservative alternative to the liberal AARP, tomorrow will launch a new television ad regarding Rep. John Boccieri’s record.

“Rep. Boccieri compromised the health care of Ohio seniors,” said Jim Martin, Chairman of the 60 Plus Association.  “The Obama/Pelosi health care disaster cuts $500 billion from Medicare, forcing many seniors out of the health care plans they enjoy and into a one-size-fits-all option they have already turned down!  Rep. Boccieri hurt Ohio seniors.  And this November, you can be certain that they’ll remember.”

60 Plus began the ad campaign in Ohio’s 16th Congressional District on September 10.  This is the second in a series of ads the organization has released in the district in regards to Boccieri’s record.

We warned John Boccieri not to do it.  Not to vote for a big-government health care bill…  One that costs a trillion dollars… Raises taxes…  And cuts 500 billion from Medicare…  But John Boccieri sided with Nancy Pelosi and did it anyway.  We may never know why Boccieri supported Pelosi over our seniors, but this November, when you vote against John Boccieri, he’ll know exactly the reason why.
