Dear Representative Jordan:

On behalf of more than seven million senior citizen activists the 60 Plus Association supports the Jordan Amendment to the Continuing Resolution.

It is time that Congress is held accountable and the Jordan Amendment goes straight to the core of the spending problem itself. Senior citizens, living on fixed incomes, have had to learn to live within their means.  The government should do likewise.

We applaud you for your leadership on this issue and will continue to stand with you and urge all Members to vote yes on your amendment.
