Biden’s Dangerous Policies: Day by day, the average American is starting to feel the pain of Biden’s reckless policies, pushed by the radical leftist in Congress.
Inflation…we’re feeling it at the pump and with every purchase…it gets worse by the day.
Critical Race Theory…enough already! We are not born racist…why divide instead of heal?
Men Playing Women’s Sports…our daughters and granddaughters are losing options daily.
Defund the Police…over 500 riots so far due to the reckless “progressive” BLM & ANTIFA.
Illegal Immigration…it is overwhelming local communities, bringing disease, taking jobs etc.
Voter ID…an overwhelming majority of voters agree that ONLY legal citizens should vote.
The radical left wing of the Democratic party is running a radical agenda that is NOT in the mainstream of American voters. The Biden Administration has bought into these liberal policies, killing the hope that he would govern as a moderate Democrat.
This is NOT your parent’s Democratic party.

Biden is the ‘root cause’ of the border crisis
While it may sound like good policy, Vice President Kamala Harris’s plan to address the “root causes” of migration is unnecessary to solve our border crisis.
Earlier on Thursday, the White House released a cover letter outlining its plan to tackle the root causes of migration in Central America. The letter by Harris states that America must “consistently engage with the region to address the hardships that cause people to leave Central America and come to our border.”
The more detailed plan, titled “U.S. Strategy for Addressing the Root Causes of Migration in Central America,” consists of five pillars on issues ranging from addressing economic insecurity to promoting respect for human rights.
But aside from the plan’s fourth pillar, which addresses countering the influence of criminal gangs, the strategy calls on the United States to engage in what is essentially state-building. Harris’s plan would ask the U.S. to support “new energy delivery infrastructure” and efforts to improve the resilience of “core public infrastructure,” even as the Senate begins debate on a $1.2 trillion infrastructure package at home…
… As I previously wrote, Trump’s blueprint was effective at stemming the flow of migrants across the southern border. But despite their effectiveness, Trump-era policies were reversed by the Biden administration. And as a result, we have seen border crimes surge. It has increased so much that the governors of Texas and Arizona have requested law enforcement and military personnel from other states this past June.
It is clear that Harris’s plan for Central American state-building is not needed to end the surge at our southern border. Biden’s reversal of Trump-era policies is the “root cause” that the vice president should immediately fix.
The Threat of Woke Capitalism Is Deeper and More Powerful Than it Appears
Major League Baseball shocked Americans by pulling the All-Star Game out of Atlanta over an election integrity law. Companies like Disney and Coke subject employees to trainings about being “less white.” While some of us have been warning about the nefarious impact of leftist groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) in corporate America, a recent book exposes the roots and the threat of woke capitalism, tracing back decades. The problem is far worse than it first appears.
In The Dictatorship of Woke Capital: How Political Correctness Captured Big Business, Stephen R. Soukup traces how the Progressive bureaucracy of Woodrow Wilson enabled the Marxist corruption of big business in the name of tracking a company according to “environmental, social, and governance” (ESG) metrics, prioritizing “stakeholders” over shareholders.
Soukup traces how Progressive ideas about perfecting bureaucracy infected business and the financial industry. He also traces the development of Marxist critical theory through the Frankfurt School to Columbia University. As Marxism marched through academia and other institutions, it also infected the bureaucracy of big business, including the financial institutions that manage investment.
The “woke” excesses of MLB, Coke, and Disney trace back to investment institutions known as proxy advisory services, which go between investors and companies, using an ESG lens to direct investors’ cash to companies that implement a leftist agenda. Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) and Glass Lewis — two companies most Americans have never heard of — account for 97 percent of the proxy advisory business, and they carry tremendous weight in corporate America.
To win in 2022, the GOP should focus on its state success
National Republicans have spent much of the last few months confounded by a challenge. Their opponents are attempting to compel them to choose between embracing Donald Trump and rejecting him. The former president’s shadow looms over everything—and will, until he announces his intentions for 2024.
A lot can happen between now and then. GOP leaders like Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) need to go to the American people now with alternatives to what the Democrats are offering. Waiting on Trump to make up his mind or worrying about what he will say is a big mistake.
The Republicans came out of the last election in a much stronger position than many commentators are willing to acknowledge. They gained seats in the U.S. House and, were it not for Trump’s post-election temper tantrum, would have maintained their majority in the U.S. Senate instead of losing two seats in Georgia they should have easily won…
… Instead of focusing on Washington, McConnell, McCarthy, RNC Chairman Ronna McDaniel and the rest of the GOP leadership should direct the American people’s attention to the states. That’s where the contrast between the two parties really shows.
It’s the Republican states where jobs are coming back the fastest. The five states with the lowest unemployment rates in June 2021 have Republican governors and at least nominal GOP legislative majorities. The eight with the highest unemployment rate are led by Democrats. Republican leadership in the states is succeeding first because their economic fundamentals were sound to begin with. And second because the governors of those states, unlike their Democratic counterparts, had the good sense to suspend the unemployment bonus payments that allowed people to stay at home drawing checks rather than look for work.
James Craig calls out Democrats who want to defund police: Hire social workers as your private security
‘Squad’ member Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., campaign filings revealed she spent $70K on security while pushing to defund the police.
Former Detroit Police Chief James Craig and Michigan gubernatorial candidate ripped some Democrats on “America Reports” Monday for their hypocrisy in pushing to defund the police while hiring private security. Craig’s comments came in the wake of news that “Squad” member and Missouri Rep. Cori Bush reportedly paid $70K for her own security.
“Violent criminals are still going to get the gun. We are going to defund the police and hurt vulnerable communities and then take guns away from law-abiding citizens. That’s a recipe for failure.”
Race-based federal funding for colleges is illegal, but Biden wants to boost it
Team Biden has been losing in court for discriminating on the basis of race. These cases involve pandemic relief, but several existing federal college programs under the Higher Education Act of 1965 that the Biden administration seeks to boost are even worse: They use race quotas to determine which colleges get billions of federal dollars.
I know about them because I used to direct them.
These race-based programs — more than a dozen — include HSI-STEM, for Hispanic-Serving Institutions to increase the number of Hispanic students in science, technology, engineering and math fields, and the Predominantly Black Institutions (PBI) program. The enrollment quotas are 25 percent for Hispanics and 40 percent for blacks. In other programs, the Hawaiian quota is 10 percent and the Alaska Native quota is 20 percent. If an institution meets these enrollment figures, it can get the taxpayer bucks.
These programs violate constitutional rights for several reasons.
Officers’ powerful Capitol riot testimony underscores Pelosi’s partisan blunder
On Capitol Hill, partisanship is coin of the realm. Still, a congressional probe of the Capitol riot should not be political. But House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) can’t help herself. She made the probe irredeemably political by refusing to seat two prominent Republicans — Reps. Jim Jordan (Ohio) and Jim Banks (Ind.), both tireless Donald Trump apologists — who had been chosen by GOP leadership to serve on the select Jan. 6 Committee.
On the terms that she gratuitously imposed, then, Pelosi emerges as the big loser after the committee’s first hearing on Tuesday.
The hearing featured the devastating testimony of four heroic police officers, who were bloodied but unbowed in fighting to defend Congress and then-Vice President Mike Pence from throngs of rioters, many of them as racist as they were rabid. The cops’ accounts were as unimpeachable as they were chilling.
Pelosi had nothing to fear from Jordan and Banks. The speaker claims to desire the truth, but the truth never worries about being challenged. No one could have laid a glove on these witnesses.
The speaker may aspire to Machiavelli, but this was an amateur-hour backfire. By her imperious move, she has undermined the committee’s credibility in the eyes of many Republicans — not just Trump diehards but conservatives and moderates who believe in bipartisan comity. Pelosi gave House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and ardent Trump supporters, who wanted no part of a Capitol riot investigation, all the excuse they needed to pull up stakes and dismiss the committee as a partisan stunt.
That’s a shame. Congress has a duty to conduct an investigation — a duty that doesn’t evaporate when the nominal leaders can’t find it in themselves to be adults. The cops’ testimony was worth all of the country’s attention, the millions of potential television viewers Pelosi likely has driven away most of all.
The way you win an argument, a trial, or a hearing in America is not by rigging the tribunal. It is by strategically, methodically starting your case with what cannot be disputed or defended. That is what the committee did in eliciting testimony from Sgt. Aquilino Gonell and Officer Harry Dunn of the Capitol Police, along with Officers Michael Fanone and Daniel Hodges of the D.C. Metropolitan Police.
Why the Left Can’t Let Go of Jan. 6
To understand what House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s select committee investigation of the Capitol Hill events of Jan. 6 is all about, a good place to begin is with the sentencing hearing last week of Paul Hodgkins.
A crane operator from Tampa, Florida, Hodgkins, 38, pleaded guilty to a single count of obstructing a joint session of Congress called to confirm Joe Biden as the next president.
Hodgkins entered the Senate chamber carrying a Trump 2020 flag. He committed no assault, no act of destruction, no act of violence. Yet, he was sentenced to eight months in prison by U.S. Judge Randolph Moss.
Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Mona Sedky argued for a sentence of twice that length, a year and a half, because, as she told the judge, “Jan. 6 was genuinely an act of terrorism.”
But is that true? Was Jan. 6 “an act of terrorism” — of the character if not the magnitude, say, of the Oklahoma City bombing?
Hodgkins’ attorney vigorously rejected that depiction. To call Jan. 6 “domestic terrorism,” said Patrick Leduc, is “offensive and gaslighting the country … It was a protest that became a riot, period, full stop.”
Leduc is correct: Jan. 6th was a riot. Had it truly been “domestic terrorism,” as the U.S. attorney claimed, why would she have accepted a guilty plea for a single nonviolent offense?
R.I.P. A good man… Carl Levin, Michigan’s longest serving U.S. senator, dies at 87
Carl Levin, a liberal Democrat who rose from a prominent Detroit family to become Michigan’s longest-serving U.S. senator and helped set military priorities and investigate corporate behavior for decades before retiring in 2015, died Thursday. He was 87.
The Levin Center at Wayne State University, which was formed on the senator’s behalf after he left the Senate, put out a statement late Thursday, saying, “With great sadness and heavy hearts, the (center and family) announce the passing of Senator Carl Levin.”
Levin disclosed in his recently published memoir, “Getting to the Heart of the Matter: My 36 Years in the Senate,” that he was diagnosed with lung cancer nearly four years ago, when he was 83.
