(Alexandria, Virginia) – 60 Plus Association Chairman Jim Martin — leader of the largest and most influential conservative seniors advocacy group — issued the following statement this morning in reaction to a second federal court ruling holding ObamaCare unconstitutional.

“Judge Vinson issued a courageous and entirely proper decision in ruling that President Obama’s command that every American buy into his atrocious health care scheme is unconstitutional.  Americans reject coercion of their health care decisions and pocketbooks, and thankfully the courts are correcting this massive mistake the last Congress perpetrated upon the public.

“As things stand today, a majority of America’s state Attorneys General have now successfully fought this disastrous government takeover of our nation’s health care system, and a majority of Americans remain opposed to ObamaCare and support its repeal.  When will this Administration wake-up?

“Slowly but surely ‘ObamaCare’ for all Americans, especially us older folks, is being treated for what it is–bad medicine–and hopefully a healthy prescription will soon replace it.”
