Obamagate: The facts that are coming out daily show an unbelievable attempt at the highest levels of the Obama Administration to not only affect an election, but possibly implement a “legal coup” using a hoax impeachment process.
Democrats in Congress, the Administration, law enforcement, and throughout the deep state plotted and implemented what is developing into the greatest scandal of our Republic.
It’s ironic how the mainstream media, liberal press and their allies all of a sudden want to just “move on” after dragging our country through 3 years of a near constitutional crisis that is starting to look like it was nothing more than pure politics.
Unfortunately, we do need to get to the bottom of this and make sure it NEVER happens again, under either party, under any president with the rule of law remaining our bedrock principle that makes America unique around the world.
Don’t accept Obamagate apologists’ attempts to sweep this scandal under the carpet. America deserves to know the truth. More importantly, we need to bring what happened to the forefront to make sure it never happens again.
John James for U.S. Senate: The best Republican “pick up” opportunity in the country seems to come down to Michigan. John James continues to raise an impressive amount of money, build a strong grassroots team statewide, and has the unique situation where Michigan Republicans benefit from both the President’s coattails and reverse coattails, as every state legislator is up for re-election. Currently, Republicans are in solid control of the Michigan House and the Senate. With legislative races across the state bringing out Republican voters to defend their legislative majorities, you could see a unique alignment of the political stars that would make John James Michigan’s next United States Senator!
Red Wave vs Blue Wave: Republicans won BOTH special elections for Congressional seats this week. Key swing seats in California and Wisconsin went to the Republicans and the Democrat’s hope of some seismic shift against the President and the Republicans did NOT play out.
American voters are paying attention. They realize the hyper partisanship promoted by liberal Democrats and their allies in the mainstream media is NOT good for America. In a time of crisis, putting partisanship aside and working together for the greater good is what most Americans want. Democrats will hopefully learn that lesson as they lose seats in the upcoming elections.
CoronaVirus: Still something to be aware of. Be smart. Pay attention to the advice health care professionals are giving. Be diligent about your habits. Do your part to help. This is serious and should be taken seriously.
It’s a problem. It was not Trump’s fault. The haters just have to get over it and pitch in to help make this better. Let’s learn from this and be a better country for it.
It isn’t and shouldn’t be political.
Use common sense, keep your distance, touch less, clean everything and say a little prayer, it can’t hurt!

John James, the Michigan GOP’s Rising Star
You can’t choose your crisis: As an Army chopper pilot in Iraq, John James said on May 7, “I didn’t get to pick which call I would take, whether I would take a troops-in-contact call or whether I would take a point-of-origin rocket-attack call. I had to figure out how to do both.” In an online interview with Rick Loughery of the Young Republicans National Federation, James called it good training for confronting the COVID-19 pandemic: “We have a dual obligation,” he said, to “flatten the COVID curve without flatlining our economy.”
As a GOP Senate candidate from Michigan, James refers to his military career at almost every opportunity. An op-ed he wrote in the Detroit News on May 5 carried this headline: “Leaders Should Learn These 3 Rules from West Point.” His campaign’s logo features an Apache attack helicopter in its background. “I don’t want to go to Washington,” he said on February 5, before the coronavirus forced him to suspend public appearances. “I want to go to the swamp about as much as I wanted to go to the desert.”
He really does want to go to Washington, of course—he’s running for the Senate for the second time in two years—but his audience of Livingston County Republicans that evening seemed to appreciate the expression of modesty. Gathered at a lakeside country club about halfway between Detroit and Lansing, just a couple of hours after the Senate acquitted President Trump in his impeachment trial, they listened as James roamed around a podium and, with the fluency of someone delivering a TED Talk, made the case for his candidacy. James mentioned the importance of the Constitution, the value of free speech, and the deficiencies of his opponent, Democratic senator Gary Peters. His lines were polished but also included moments of improvisation, as when he likened “Medicare for All” to “outsourcing our health insurance to people who can’t get a caucus right.” This was a jab at Iowa Democrats, whose bungled vote-counting had dominated the news just a day earlier. James didn’t mention Trump by name at all and brought him up only at the very end, with a veiled reference to the acquittal that turned out to be his biggest applause line of the evening: “I look forward to working with our president in his second term.”
Predicted Blue Wave Crashes In Wisconsin, California Special Elections
It was just two days ago that ABC News’ election forecaster FiveThirtyEight suggested “Two Special Elections On Tuesday Could Hint At Another Blue Wave In 2020.”
The case made by Geoffrey Skelley and Nathaniel Rakich was simple: Supposedly Americans strongly prefer Biden and Democrats over Trump and Republicans, and they are particularly upset with Trump and other Republicans’ attempts to reopen the country as the global Coronavirus pandemic rages.
“On Tuesday, we’ll get a taste of whether Democrats’ electoral advantage on paper will hold up in practice, as California and Wisconsin hold special elections for two vacant congressional seats. The main event is in the California 25th Congressional District, a bellwether seat in the north Los Angeles suburbs, where both parties see a chance to add to their ranks in the House. But if Democrats are also competitive in the quickly reddening, rural Wisconsin 7th Congressional District, it could signal another blue wave in the fall,” they argued.
‘Obamagate’ Isn’t A Conspiracy Theory, It’s A Huge Political Scandal
When former president Barack Obama told supporters last week that the Justice Department’s decision to drop the case against former White House National Security Adviser Mike Flynn is a “threat to the rule of law,” he was relying wholly on the fiction, willingly propagated for years by a pliant media, that the Russia-Trump collusion probe launched by his administration was lawful and legitimate.
But of course it wasn’t. A string of recently released documents have confirmed that the entire Russia-Trump investigation, which eventually entrapped Flynn and forced then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions to recuse himself, was an unprecedented abuse of power that amounted to organized effort by the Obama administration to nullify the results of the 2016 presidential election. It was in effect an attempted coup.
If you haven’t picked that up from the news media, it’s not your fault. Instead of grappling with the implications of newly released details about what Obama officials were doing to undermine the incoming Trump administration during the transition, the mainstream media have fixated on Trump’s use of the term “Obamagate,” dismissing it as a conspiracy theory.
Read: Documents listing names of Obama-era officials who sought to ‘unmask’ Michael Flynn
GOP Sens. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin and Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa released documents on Wednesday listing the declassified names of Obama-era officials who sought to “unmask” former national security adviser Michael Flynn.
Read the documents here.
The Flynn Unmaskers Unmasked
When news stories appeared in early 2017 about Michael Flynn’s conversation with Russia’s ambassador to the U.S., these columns wondered how Mr. Flynn’s call was so widely known. The names of private U.S. citizens caught on tape by U.S. intelligence are supposed to be “masked” so their privacy is protected.
Well, now we know. GOP Senators Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson on Wednesday released a declassified list of Obama Administration officials who in their waning days in power “unmasked” the conversations of Mr. Flynn, who was set to become President Trump’s National Security Adviser. It seems everyone A stunning 39 separate officials snooped on Mr. Flynn’s conversations with foreign actors, lodging nearly 50 unmasking demands between Nov. 30, 2016 and Jan. 12, 2017. Our sources say the nearly dozen redacted names on the list are likely intelligence types—who might have a legitimate interest in knowing who their foreign targets were speaking to in the U.S. But most of the rest are partisan officials who had no business spying on their successors.
Ten reasons to end the lockdown now
Writing in this magazine a month ago, I applauded the government’s stated aim of trying to follow the science in dealing with Covid. Such promises are easier made than kept. Following science means understanding science. It means engaging with rival interpretations of the limited data in order to tease out what is most important in what we don’t know. Instead, the government in the UK (and many other places) seems uninterested in alternative viewpoints.
The chosen narrative – that lockdown has saved countless lives – has been doggedly followed by all spokespeople. No doubt is allowed. We have been seeing the groupthink response to a perceived external threat that Jonathan Haidt describes so lucidly in his excellent book on human moral thinking, The Righteous Mind.
It has now become a matter of faith that lockdown is vital. Not only is it believed to be causally responsible for ‘flattening the curve’, but it is feared that releasing it too soon may cause a second spike in cases and ‘economic disaster’ (presumably due to further huge numbers of deaths). On what evidence is this made?
Encouraging Illegal Aliens To Remain In The US Is A Crime, Supreme Court Rules
The Supreme Court unanimously upheld a federal statute that forbids encouraging illegal aliens to remain in the U.S. unlawfully in a decision Thursday.
The Supreme Court justices voided an earlier decision by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, which had ruled that a federal anti-harboring statute was unconstitutional on the grounds that it violated the First Amendment by restricting free speech. The ruling by the nation’s highest court Thursday upholds the law.
The Supreme Court not only vacated the appeals court’s decision, but also criticized the judges for “drastically” straying from judicial norms.
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a liberal stalwart of the bench, wrote the high court’s opinion.
Prevent Medicare’s ‘Pandemic Penalty’ on Seniors
The COVID-19 pandemic has hit seniors particularly hard. While no one is spared the risks of this virus, nearly three out of four deaths involve patients over age 65, many of whom also have one or more underlying medical conditions.
But it is not just exposure to COVID-19 that threatens seniors. There is also a threat to seniors’ future health benefits if the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) does not adjust its payment formulas for Medicare Advantage in response to the pandemic’s impact on health care.
More than 24 million Americans choose Medicare Advantage (MA) plans because of their comprehensive and cost-effective approach to providing care. Each year, CMS is required by law and regulation to decide how much it will pay MA plans, known as the “MA rate notice,” based on the medical experience of the prior year. This is a sensible approach that helps ensure that the health status and utilization of medical services by seniors is reflected in subsequent rates.
Fox News Senior Political Analyst Cites This as ‘the Worst Journalistic Fiasco’ He’s Ever Seen. He’s Not Wrong
Fox News Senior Political Analyst Brit Hume has seen a lot on his career in media that spans five decades. He’s still a regular fixture on the network, serving as a senior political analyst, but he has cited one event that has been a total trainwreck for the industry: The Trump-Russia collusion hoax.
From the get-go, it started out as sour grapes from liberals. How could Hillary lose; Trump must’ve cheated? This circus began quickly. As we now know, former President Barack Obama held a key meeting on January 5, 2017—days before the Trump inauguration—to lay out his game plan for protecting the FBI’s counterintelligence probe into Russian collusion. Preferably, it would be nice if the Trump team never found out about it. And so, the deluge of targeted leaks, which was part of executing Barry’s last-minute order was initiated.
How many bombshells did we endure? How many fell apart within 36-48 hours? Too many to count because there is no evidence of Russian collusion. It’s one of those fantastic lies the liberal media peddled and got the base of the Democratic Party rambunctious with impeachment lust. It took the special counsel investigation and an IG report from the Department of Justice to debunk this clown show. Both reports shot holes through the whole narrative and slicing away at the Trump dossier, a piece of Democrat opposition research funded by the party and the Hillary Clinton campaign.
New Biden Hire Previously Warned Biden Couldn’t Beat Trump
One of Joe Biden’s top campaign aides warned in a 2019 memo that the presumptive Democratic nominee may not be able to defeat President Donald Trump.
Biden’s new states director Jennifer Ridder, who previously served as Montana governor Steve Bullock’s presidential campaign manager, told donors in a memo that the former vice president could be “unable to take down Trump.”
“Again and again, we hear from Democratic primary voters that the most important quality in a candidate is their ability to beat Trump next November,” she wrote in September. “At the same time, there is a growing fear that the candidates promising revolutions are out of step with general election voters while others fear Vice President Biden may be unable to take down Trump.”
Hospitals and Physicians Will Likely Need Financial Help, but Let’s Not Pass That Cost to Our Seniors
From the anesthesiologist performing intubations, to the nurse doing everything possible to comfort dying COVID-19 patients, to the orderly transporting them through busy hallways, hospitals are teeming with heroes through this pandemic. The costs being felt by the frontline health care workers are staggering, both personally and financially, and as a nation we owe them a debt of gratitude and to make them whole. But how we do that without harming others already being disproportionately affected by this crisis will be key.
According to the CDC, 80% of COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. have been in adults 65 and older. Of patients over 85 confirmed to have the virus, as many as 70% require hospitalization. For adults 65-84, they fare slightly better, with closer to 60% requiring hospitalization. There is no doubt that seniors are facing frightful odds in their fight against COVID-19. We can’t add more financial pressures to an already anxiety-inducing situation, and that’s exactly what one of the funding proposals on the table may do.
Key lawmaker says Marie Yovanovitch ‘1000%’ misled Congress, DOJ should investigate
The former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine “1000%” misled Congress during last year’s impeachment hearings when she claimed she didn’t know much about the controversial Burisma Holdings company and the Justice Department needs to investigate, Rep. Lee Zeldin, R-N.Y., says.
Zeldin reacted Thursday after documents published by Just the News earlier this week showed Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch met with a Burisma representative, received correspondence from the Ukraine gas company that hired Hunter Biden and received a detailed briefing on the matter during the 2016 election.
Yovanovitch, testifying before the House Intelligence Committee’s impeachment inquiry last fall, said that she knew little about the company, especially as it pertained to the Biden. She testified most of what she knew was from a briefing before she headed to run the U.S. embassy in Kiev and from news reports.
Unmasking revelation opens door for Trump campaign to portray scandal-plagued Biden
Move over, “Sleepy Joe.” President Trump’s campaign is increasingly painting the presumptive Democratic nominee as “Beijing Biden,” and “Crooked, Swampy Joe” may not be too far behind.
But Sleepy, Swampy, and Crooked are not a reprise of the seven dwarfs. Joe Biden has now accumulated a number of scandals, ranging from his son Hunter’s business dealings with China, a country on which the candidate himself is seen as soft, to the Tara Reade sexual assault allegations. The latest revelation is that as vice president, Biden was informed of the “unmasking” requests concerning then-incoming national security adviser Michael Flynn, something he had previously denied.
Trumpworld is packaging all these hits together into one cohesive case against Biden that is reminiscent of its successful 2016 campaign against Hillary Clinton. Its argument is that the Democratic standard-bearer is a longtime district insider and swamp creature running against Trump the disruptor.
Will There Be an Obamagate Reckoning? You Betcha!
Spygate has a new name under the trending Twitter hashtag #ObamaGate. It is being revealed to the public in a slow but systematic fashion, a treasonous plot to undermine a presidential election and subsequent presidency. When that failed, the plot twisted to destroying a duly elected president through leaks, innuendo, and outright lies.
This was not simply a few rogue FBI or DOJ agents taking justice into their own hands. Instead a plot of this magnitude had the blessing of the big boss, the capo di tutti capi, as the Mafia like to say, the boss of all bosses, President Barack Hussein Obama. Hence the name ObamaGate.
Senate Renews FBI Surveillance Powers With Modest Reforms
An attempt by Sen. Rand Paul (R–Ky.) to completely end the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court’s authority to approve warrantless surveillance of Americans went down in flames this afternoon in a blowout 11–85 vote. The Senate subsequently passed a bill that renewed some of these powers with more modest reforms.
Paul’s legislation was essentially a Hail Mary pass: It would have forbidden the feds from targeting American citizens with any of the surveillance, wiretapping, and data collection tools authorized by the FISA court. The National Security Agency and the FBI would instead have to go through traditional federal courts and get a warrant. (The court could still allow surveillance of foreign targets.)
When justice is stripped of her blindfold – and her scales are tampered with.
The opening credits of the Perry Mason television drama featured a statue of justice as a blindfolded woman raising aloft a pair of scales. This common visual metaphor captures the two critical dimensions of justice: balancing the punishment with the crime, and the equality of all under the law.
Four years ago the Obama administration and rogue partisans in the FBI and DOJ abused their powers in order to keep Donald Trump from being elected, and then to hamstring and sabotage his administration. Now we are nearing the end of the investigations into those crimes, and the truth long obvious to many will finally be confirmed. But if the verification of these crimes is not followed by indictments and the malefactors put on trial, our political system will be seriously damaged, and we citizens will lose faith in the integrity of our justice system and its role in protecting our political freedom
Mike Bloomberg plots spending blitz to support Joe Biden’s run for president
Billionaire and former presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg is plotting a massive spending blitz to back Joe Biden’s quest for the White House.
The former New York mayor and his closest political advisors are discussing whether Bloomberg’s expenditure will include major donations to pro-Biden super PACs, Biden’s joint fundraising effort with the Democratic National Committee, or another independent group, according to people familiar with the conversations. These people declined to be named as the talks were private.
There are at least three super PACs backing Biden that Bloomberg could give to: Unite the Country, Priorities USA and American Bridge. Donors can give unlimited funds to super PACs, but are limited in how much they can give to campaigns and joint fundraising campaign committees.
