“Americans will not tolerate the unhinged bullying of Judge Kavanaugh”
ALEXANDRIA, Virginia (July 9, 2018) – 60 Plus Association Founder and Chairman James Martin Tuesday issued the following statement on President Trump’s nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to serve as associate justice on the Supreme Court of the United States:
“President Trump’s nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court is the latest example of how this president continues keeping the promises he made to the American people. Donald Trump pledged that his Supreme Court nominees would be faithful to the Constitution and Judge Kavanaugh exemplifies that guiding principle.
“Brett Kavanaugh has an outstanding record of well-reasoned, tempered decisions from the bench and will continue to be an outstanding jurist on the Supreme Court. I have every confidence that Judge Kavanaugh will be true to the president’s goal of ensuring that the high court bases its decisions on the Constitution, not judicial activism.
“Leading Democrats have already shown their hand in attacking the president’s nominee, unleashing a barrage of hysteria and lies in response to Brett Kavanaugh. Americans will not tolerate the unhinged bullying of Judge Kavnaugh and these false attacks are going to backfire on the entire Democrat Party.
“I and all of our members are proud to stand with President Trump and Brett Kavanaugh, and we look forward to Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court,” Martin concluded.
