A bunch of Catholic High School kids come to DC to participate in a pro-life demonstration and get accosted by some guy with a drum. The mainstream media immediately jumps on the boys because they are wearing MAGA hats.
The irony (free speech) and double standard that exists with unbelievably biased media is astounding. How many times have leftist harassed conservatives exercising their free speech rights…and never the outrage like this have we seen.
The bigotry on the left is real. There are a couple of good articles below that lay out the facts and the sad conclusions it’s hard not to draw.
Government Shutdown: The Democrats are playing politics. The are NOT interested in a deal, they just want to create a crisis they can blame on President Trump.
The facts are NO compromise, NO proposals, NO negotiations and NO good faith efforts on the part of the Democrats.
They have been given multiple opportunities to come together to find common ground. They are NOT interested. This is part of their grand strategy to “resist†Trump, at the expense of hundreds of thousands of federal workers.
So now we have a short term solution to not punish federal employees for the politics…but lets be clear, the Democrats are playing a dangerous game.
Shameful. Politics at its worse. I hope the American people are paying attention.
Senator Lindsey Graham: The Senator has really stepped up and accepted the challenge! I would have never guess it. Senator Graham will be responsible for working with Leader McConnell to confirm potentially hundreds of federal judges over the next two years and now has said he is going to investigate the Obama/Clinton caused scandals that have divided this country.
If as the evidence appears to suggest, all the Russia collusion investigation and effort to discredit President Trump was just a political set-up by a politicize “deep state†under the Obama and Clinton teams direction, this would expose the kind of activity that threatens the foundation of our county.
This is going to get VERY interesting.

The Bigotry At The Heart Of The Covington Affair Belongs To The Left
Although some journalists have recanted at length, and others have apologized and deleted their early, emotionally charged reactions, plenty of others have not and will not. They believe that whatever the video footage actually reveals about the incident— specifically, that the elderly Native American man, Nathan Phillips, approached the kids and initiated a confrontation after they had been harassed by a bizarre racist group called the Black Hebrew Israelites—is irrelevant to what they say is the larger point: that “privileged†white teenage boys who wear MAGA hats are racist bigots and deserve no mercy.
The Covington kids are certainly getting none. They and their families have been doxxed, harassed, and threatened for days on end. On Tuesday, Covington Catholic High School was closed over security concerns…
…Here we get to the heart of the Covington affair. For the social justice left, including many mainstream media figures, holding conservative views on abortion or marriage automatically makes you a bigot. Even apart from any views you espouse, simply wearing a MAGA hat makes you a bigot. And being a white male, together with any of the above, makes you the worst of bigots.
And you don’t apologize to bigots. You destroy them.
GOP reaches landmark agreement to juice small-dollar fundraising
President Donald Trump’s political team and top Republican officials have reached a landmark agreement to reshape the party’s fundraising apparatus and close the financial gap that devastated them in the midterms.
With the deal, Republicans hope to create a rival to ActBlue, the Democratic online fundraising behemoth that plowed over $700 million in small-dollar donations into Democratic coffers in the 2018 campaign.
Republicans have had no comparable centralized platform to cultivate small dollars. Since the election, officials including White House senior adviser Jared Kushner, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy have privately insisted the party needed to come up with an answer.
Following weeks of closed-door discussions, Republicans have agreed to create a new platform dubbed Patriot Pass, which will be used to cultivate and process online donations. The GOP — whose jungle-like ecosystem of vendors has long fought bitterly over contracts and dollars — has struggled in the past to create such a unified system.
“The News Is Dying, but Journalism Will Notâ€: How the Media Can Prevent 2020 from Becoming 2016
The ultimate bias injournalism is not political. It’s toward controversy, gaffes, and scandal—shinynew things that get ratings and shares and downloads. There’s a rather obviouslesson here for Democrats seeking the White House—and for media elites who aretragically out of touch with how Americans actually consume the news.
If you haven’tnoticed, media people are talking about the media again. At the dawn of a newpresidential campaign, a debate is swirling over how to improve media coverageof a presidential campaign. Can the press deliver more policy substance andless of the salacious, conflict-based clickbait that drove so much mediacoverage in 2016? Versions of this conversation flare every four years, usuallytoo late and to little effect, but in the wake of the mainstream media’s manyblunders in the last campaign—including our national obsession with HillaryClinton’s e-mails—this latest meditation carries a sense of urgency.
Frank Bruni recently admonished the press in The New York Times for lavishing too much attention on Donald Trump’s tweets and silly nicknames. Brian Beutler of Crooked Media rightly condemned the media’s “misbegotten habit of prizing partisan balance over its obligation to faithfully represent political reality to consumers.†Jay Rosen, the N.Y.U. media critic, made a similar point about the news media’s addiction to “cheap drama†and ESPN-style programming. Margaret Sullivan, The Washington Post media writer, recalled how, when she was public editor of the Times, she examined a sample of the paper’s campaign coverage in 2016 and found that “three out of every four pieces of political journalism were horse race coverage.†Of course, the Times was hardly the only culprit. Virtually no outlet was immune.
Dems, not Trump, should be in spotlight
As usual the swampcreatures and their allies in the national mainstream media are blamingPresident Donald Trump and the Republican Party he leads for the partialgovernment shutdown when, in reality, the spotlight should be on Democrats.
Democrats aren’t justrefusing to protect the border. They advocate an open borders policy that notonly has led to the cold-blooded murder of police officers, but has alsoadversely impacted black voters who find themselves competing against illegalaliens for jobs.
For years the nationalmainstream media focused on intra-party divisions within the GOP; first withthe tea party in 2010 and then with Trump’s spectacular slaying of a Republicanwho’s who to capture the party’s presidential nomination and do what no Republicanhas ever done: Defeat the Clintons.
Yet, the deep divisions that have torn apart Democrats since 2008, when Barack Obama’s election as president was empowered by the unabashed left-wing coalition that is today the majority of the Democratic Party, have largely gone unreported.
Senator Lindsey Graham to Investigate Obama and Hillary Scandals
Since taking over theHouse, Democrats have promised to open the investigation floodgates. If DonaldTrump or anyone in his administration ever so much as misplaced a paper clip, you can be sure there would be hearings. When the Mueller probe reveals that thereis no evidence of Russian collusion, they will start their own investigation,no doubt. Their main objective is to make sure Trump is not reelected, and inthe meantime, they will do everything they can to make it impossible for him togovern. To them, that is called transparency and accountability.
But when the tables are turned, and the real crimes and abuses of power by Democrats are suddenly in the crosshairs of Republicans with a thirst for accountability… well, there’s outrage:
White House announces 51 judicial picks, including two for liberal 9th Circuit
The White House onTuesday announced the re-nomination of 51 federal judicial nominees left overfrom the previous Congress, kickstarting the administration’s effort to installmore conservative judges after GOP activists worried that such appointments hadstalled.
Nine of the 51appointments are for spots on prestigious and influential federal appellatebenches, including two on the mostly liberal San Francisco-based 9th CircuitCourt of Appeals, which President Trump has often derided as “disgraceful”and politically biased.
“I truly appreciate the prompt attention President Trump and his White House team have shown to judicial nominations,” Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said in a statement Wednesday. “I also appreciate the list of 51 impressive judicial nominations to fulfill the Senate’s constitutional role in advice and consent.”
How the Clinton machine flooded the FBI with Trump-Russia dirt … until agents bit
When at first youdon’t succeed, try, try again. That’s what Hillary Clinton’s machine did in2016, eventually getting the FBI to bite on an uncorroborated narrative thatDonald Trump and Russia were trying to hijack the presidential election.
Between July andOctober 2016, Clinton-connected lawyers, emissaries and apologists made morethan a half-dozen overtures to U.S. officials, each tapping a politicalconnection to get suspect evidence into FBI counterintelligence agents’ hands, according to internal documents and testimonies I reviewed and interviews Iconducted.
In each situation, theoverture was uninvited. And as the election drew closer, the point of contactmoved higher up the FBI chain.
It was, as one of my own FBI sources called it, a “classic case of information saturation†designed to inject political opposition research into a counterintelligence machinery that should have suspected a political dirty trick was underway.
Top FBI Lawyer to Congress: Hillary Clinton Should Have Been Charged in Email
Baker told Congress heargued with other members of the FBI, including disgraced former director,James Comey about the Clinton investigation.
“My original belief …after having conducted the investigation and towards the end of it, thensitting down and reading a binder of her materials, I thought that it wasalarming, appalling, whatever words I said, and argued with others about whythey thought she shouldn’t be charged,†he said.
Baker also seemed totake issue with the handling of the Trump-Russia investigation.
The Epoch Timeswrites:
Confronted with a damning summary of abnormalities, bias, and omissions, which transpired during the investigation, Baker told Congress that the investigation indeed was “highly unusual.â€
Conservatives see Democratic religious bigotry in growing backlog of judicial nominees
Conservatives areturning up the heat on Senate Democrats to fill the growing number of federaljudicial vacancies, blaming the backlog in part on Democratic hostility to thetraditional religious beliefs of some White House nominees.
The Judicial Crisis Network has rolled out a $1.5 million cable and digital ad campaign accusing Democrats of “taking their obstruction to disgraceful new lows, shamefully bullying nominees, attacking them because of their faith.â€
CDC: Americans aren’t having enough babies to sustain the population
Americans aren’thaving enough children to sustain the population, bringing the nationalfertility rate to a 30-year low, according to a report from the CDC.
The CDC has found inits “National Vital Statistics” report that as of 2017, birth rateshave fallen 16 percent below the level needed for the American population toreplace itself.
The report finds that only two states, New Mexico and Utah, can replace their own population. D.C. holds the lowest birthrate with 1,421 births for every 1,000 women.
China Is Losing The Trade War In Nearly Every Way
China is still theworld’s No. 2 economy and is still the monster of emerging markets, butregardless of those bonafides, Xi Jinping’s country is losing the trade war innearly every way imaginable.
The arrest of HuaweiCFO Meng Wanzhou in Canada last month for breaking U.S. sanctions law, followedby the firing of Huawei sales executive Wang Weijing in Poland last week showsChina can be a bad actor, exactly as Washington believes. The Poland storycenters around spying allegations, where Wang allegedly sought trade secretsfrom the government. Huawei’s latest bad headlines show how China techcompanies may have risen to prominence by copying foreign technologies in jointventure deals or through white-collar criminal actions such as intellectualproperty theft and corporate espionage. Huawei is one of China’s mostimportant, private tech firms. It rivals Cisco Systems worldwide.
Thanks in part toHuawei, China is getting beat on the public relations front in the trade war.
Early in the tradewar, China thought it get the Europeans as allies. They hate Trump, too. Chinafailed to woo the EU.
The Shanghai Compositeis down around 30{fb8df23bcbe63834ab470b15c329878706f1e0585fb094e72a20fd012a2164a1} in the last 12 months. Only Turkey is doing worse.
The stock market is a terrible way to measure China growth. Investors know it. So they look to the economic data. Industrial production is still positive but in decline. Quarterly GDP growth is in decline. On Monday, China released weak exports data for the month of December.
The Historic Results of President Donald J. Trump’s First Two Years in Office
Igniting a HistoricBoom: President Trump’s pro-growth policies are unleashing economic growth andproviding opportunities to workers across the country.
Initial weekly joblessclaims have hit a nearly 50-year low under President Trump. Under PresidentTrump, job openings outnumber the unemployed for the first time on record. Dueto President Trump’s pro-growth policies, real gross domestic product (GDP)growth exceeded 3 percent over the last four quarters.
Real GDP grew atannual rates of 3.4 percent in the third quarter of 2018 and 4.2 percent in thesecond quarter. More than 5 million jobs have been created since PresidentTrump’s election and the unemployment rate remains below 4 percent. This is theeighth time this year that the unemployment rate has been below 4 percent.Prior to this year, the unemployment rate had fallen below 4 percent only fivetimes since 1970.
The unemployment rate for African Americans in May fell to 5.9 percent, which is the lowest rate on record. Asian and Hispanic-American unemployment rates have reached record lows this year. Initial weekly jobless claims have hit a nearly 50-year low under President Trump. Under President Trump, job openings outnumber the unemployed for the first time on record.
Spygate: The True Story of Collusion
How America’s mostpowerful agencies were weaponized against President Donald Trump
Although the detailsremain complex, the structure underlying Spygate—the creation of the falsenarrative that candidate Donald Trump colluded with Russia, and the spying onhis presidential campaign—remains surprisingly simple:
1. CIA Director JohnBrennan, with some assistance from Director of National Intelligence JamesClapper, gathered foreign intelligence and fed it throughout our domesticIntelligence Community.
2. The FBI became thehandler of Brennan’s intelligence and engaged in the more practical elements ofsurveillance.
3. The Department ofJustice facilitated investigations by the FBI and legal maneuverings, whileproviding a crucial shield of nondisclosure.
4. The Department of State became a mechanism of information dissemination and leaks.
