Again, Democrats have politicized another government agency…our intelligence services, to lie to the American people to help them win an election.

House Republicans Make a Difference…Barely: The good news, the House Republican majority is effectively keeping the Biden Administration in check, stopping radical legislation and offering to work with a hyper-partisan White House and Senate.
The bad news…the progressive left controls the White House and the Senate…and they are doing all they can to push their radical agenda.
Elections matter. Conservative or at least mainstream Members of Congress would make a difference. The Democrats refuse to address the debt problem which will eventually bite every American in the back end…first with a recession and they hyper-inflation. All avoidable.
The elections of 2024 will be a defining moment for this country. Whether it’s about our jobs, families, the crazy culture war, WOKE politics, crime, open borders or so many more of the progressive left’s policies…we need help in Washington DC.

Aformer acting CIA director has admitted to Congress that he organized the letter that falsely portrayed Hunter Biden’s laptop as Russian disinformation in an effort to influence the 2020 election in favor of Joe Biden and that he did so at the direction of current Secretary of State Antony Blinken, according to a letter released Thursday by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan.

Jordan sent a letter demanding Blinken answer a series of questions about Morell’s stunning testimony, as lawmakers weighed the enormity of America’s top diplomat being willing to accuse a nuclear-armed superpower of interfering in the 2020 election without evidence. That letter included major snippets of Morell’s testimony.
Morell, who retired as deputy CIA director after a long and storied career and served as its acting chief, was on the short list in fall 2020 to be Biden’s CIA director when he became involved in the letter. He ultimately did not receive the job.
Biden all but admits we’ll see even worse border chaos in May
President Joe Biden vows that on May 11 he’ll end the use of Title 42 to turn away migrants.
Yet he has no plans to deal with the flood of newcomers the move will unleash — with as many as 40,000 now already massed on the Mexican side, alarming officials.
And last week, he all but admitted it.
On Monday, Biden signed a bill ending the national COVID emergency.
Yet a similar public-health-emergency declaration that allows border agents to bar migrants under Title 42 will remain in effect until next month. Huh?
Team Biden says it needs more time to get “policies in place” before ending Title 42.
“The Administration supports an orderly, predictable wind-down of Title 42, with sufficient time to put alternative policies in place,” an Office of Management and Budget statement Monday read.
Translation: Biden’s folks have no plan yet.
Biden’s open borders are bringing contagious diseases to your neighborhood – Ready for another pandemic?
New York City’s health commissioner announced last week that the influx of migrants from the southern border — more than 50,000 to New York City alone in the past year — is delivering contagious diseases, including tuberculosis and polio, to our neighborhoods.
The same disease threats are also endangering other migrant destinations, including California, Texas and Florida.
In a letter to physicians and health-care administrators citywide, Commissioner Ashwin Vasan explained, “Many people who recently arrived in NYC have lived in or traveled through countries with high rates of TB.”
TB, short for tuberculosis, is a bacterial infection. It is treatable with antibiotics, but it generally takes six to nine months of medication to recover. Not a walk in the park.
TB spreads through the air, like flu or a cold.
Stand next to someone with TB for a long subway ride or sit next to them every day at school and you can catch it.
The House Republican majority has delivered results in its first 100 days
In the first 100 days of the new majority, House Republicans have been hard at work fulfilling our commitment to America on behalf of its hardworking people.
Already, House Republicans have passed 59 bills that focus on creating an economy that’s strong, a nation that’s safe, a future that’s built on freedom, and a government that’s accountable.
Our majority has passed more bills, sent more rule bills to the president’s desk, and had more rule bills signed into law than the Democratic-led 117th Congress did at its 100-day mark. House Republicans have achieved these milestones despite having a Democratic-controlled Senate and White House, even though the 117th Congress had the advantage of one-party rule in Washington.
Even though the legacy media truly underestimated what a House Republican majority could accomplish, we have hit the ground running and set the agenda.
We are moving legislation forward, and the Senate has voted to pass five of our rule bills, sending them to President Joe Biden’s desk. Our agenda has forced Biden to sign three pieces of legislation into law, siding with House Republicans to combat D.C. crime, reveal the full truth behind COVID-19’s origins, and finally end the COVID-19 emergency.
Unfortunately, the Biden administration hasn’t been willing to work with us on other key policies. Biden issued his first veto when he rejected our bipartisan resolution to protect the public’s retirement savings from funding the far-left agenda. This contrast in priorities clearly shows that House Republicans, not this administration, are committed to standing up for our constituents.
Our agenda continues to resonate because we are prioritizing the issues that matter.
What House Republicans are considering for their go-it-alone debt limit bill
The details of House Republicans’ debt limit increase bill were in flux on Tuesday as Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and GOP leaders worked to get enough votes in a slim majority to pass it.
GOP leaders have set their sights on voting on the forthcoming legislation as early as next week, as the party tries to increase pressure on the White House to negotiate spending cuts and policy reforms as a condition of raising the debt ceiling.
A framework for the legislation presented to Republicans on Tuesday outlined some aspects of the package, tracking with McCarthy’s public description of it in a New York Stock Exchange speech on Monday. But Republicans across the board say plenty is still up for discussion.

‘Not Constructive to Demonize’: Incoming Chicago Mayor Defends Teens after Weekend Violence
After hundreds of teenagers and young adults descended on the Loop in downtown Chicago over the weekend, destroying cars and brawling in the streets, Mayor-elect Brandon Johnson cautioned against “demonizing” the vandals.
It “is not constructive to demonize youth who have otherwise been starved of opportunities in their own communities,” Johnson said in a statement released on Sunday.
“Our city must work together to create spaces for youth to gather safely and responsibly, under adult guidance and supervision, to ensure that every part of our city remains welcome for both residents and visitors.”
Over the weekend, two male teenagers were shot amid the chaos as local law enforcement arrested nine adults and six juveniles, with charges ranging from unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a stolen vehicle to reckless conduct.
The ‘Diploma Divide’ Is the New Fault Line in American Politics
The legal imbroglios of Donald Trump have lately dominated conversation about the 2024 election. As primary season grinds on, campaign activity will ebb and wane, and issues of the moment — like the first Trump indictment and potentially others to come — will blaze into focus and then disappear.
Yet certain fundamentals will shape the races as candidates strategize about how to win the White House. To do this, they will have to account for at least one major political realignment: educational attainment is the new fault line in American politics.
Educational attainment has not replaced race in that respect, but it is increasingly the best predictor of how Americans will vote, and for whom. Americans have always viewed education as a key to opportunity, but few predicted the critical role it has come to play in our politics. What makes the “diploma divide,” as it is often called, so fundamental to our politics is how it has been sorting Americans into the Democratic and Republican Parties by educational attainment. College-educated voters are now more likely to identify as Democrats, while those without college degrees — especially white Americans, but increasingly others as well — are now more likely to support Republicans.
Oil Demand Set To Remain Strong For Years To Come
Demand for oil and gas isn’t projected to fall off a cliff.
Large forecaster such as the EIA and OPEC see continued demand for liquid fuels in the next few decades.
Large oil companies continue to invest in oil and gas production growth.
I often get asked by readers of my articles, most of which involve investing in upstream oil and gas producers, and the service providers that support their activities, what the future of liquid, petroleum based fuels might be. People asking these questions, are rightly concerned about the viability of these companies. Concerned because much of what they hear from the news media, governmental entities, and, sometimes, from the companies themselves indicates there is a curtain dropping on petroleum assets in the next few years. All thanks to an “Energy Transition,” narrative about which they hear on an endless loop from morning to night. To which I reply, “Poppycock.”
If it were true there was an actual Energy Transition taking place, there would be no point in investing in oil and gas, as there would be a point at which a demand signal would be sent by the market that these fuels were no longer needed. There is no such signal being sent, in fact it’s quite the reverse. The market has instead been telling us that, despite minor fluctuations driven by external economic conditions, there is steady, resilient, and increasing demand for oil and gas.

Backlash Grows Over FBI Plans to Infiltrate Catholic Churches
As further revelations detail the extent of the FBI’s plans to send agents into Catholic churches for the purpose of infiltrating and spying on them, the bureau is now facing greater backlash from Republicans, Catholics, and FBI whistleblowers.
Just The News reports that Congressman Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) released a statement reacting to the latest revelations, voicing his support for the possibility of defunding the FBI.
“This was one of the most shocking things that I’ve seen,” said Congressman Biggs on Wednesday. “When you start finding out that they were trying to actually move in, to infiltrate, etc., you go, ‘What is their purpose?’ Do they think that if you’re an orthodox, believing and practicing Catholic, somehow that’s anti-American?”
“[I]f we’re not going to totally defund it and eliminate it — and then keep only those areas that truly support state and local law enforcement — then you’ve got to do a wholesale cleaning out of the FBI,” Biggs continued.
The latest in the ongoing FBI scandal was revealed by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), who explained the latest evidence in a press release. Through a series of documents handed over to the committee by the FBI after an information request, Congressman Jordan said that “the FBI relied on information derived from at least one undercover employee and sought to use local religious organizations as ‘new avenues for tripwire and source development.’”
“In light of this information and the serious consequences for the free exercise of Americans’ First Amendment rights,” Jordan’s statement continued, “Chairman Jordan issued a subpoena today to FBI Director Wray for all documents related to the FBI’s actions.”
This is only the latest confirmed instance of the FBI attempting to infiltrate and spy on Catholic churches. Earlier this year, an internal FBI memo was leaked out of the Richmond Field Office revealing that the bureau was considering designating those who attend the Traditional Latin Mass as “extremists,” and again considered planting agents within certain churches.
Six additional Biden family members ‘may have benefited’ from Hunter business dealings
House Republicans viewed ‘suspicious activity reports’ at Treasury related to Biden family business dealings
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said Monday he has identified “six additional members” of the Biden family who “may have benefited” from Biden family business dealings and vowed to continue to investigate whether those dealings pose a “national security threat.”
Comer, R-Ky., and members of the committee, including Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene, R-Ga., visited the Treasury Department Monday to view financial records related to the Biden family and their past business associates as part of their investigation.
“Thousands of pages of financial records related to the Biden family, their companies, and associates’ business schemes were made available to members of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, which confirm the importance of this investigation,” Comer said in a statement Monday afternoon.
“The Biden family enterprise is centered on Joe Biden’s political career and connections, and it has generated an exorbitant amount of money for the Biden family,” Comer said.
After reviewing documents, Comer said the panel has “identified six additional members of Joe Biden’s family who may have benefited from the Biden family’s businesses that we are investigating, bringing the total number of those involved or benefiting to nine.”
The Left’s Favorite Lie: Widespread White-on-Black Violence
This week, a 16-year-old boy named Ralph Yarl — black — accidentally rang the doorbell of an 84-year-old white man, Andrew Lester. According to reports, Lester then shot Yarl twice through the door, wounding him in the head and the arm. According to Clay County prosecutor Zachary Thompson, “I can tell you there was a racial component.”
This fact pattern immediately sent the salivary glands of the media and the Biden administration into overdrive. Drooling with excitement, the media headlined the Yarl shooting for days; President Joe Biden himself immediately invited Yarl, who survived, to the White House.
The reason for the journalistic and political feeding frenzy is clear: For the political Left, the narrative of white supremacy must be maintained. What’s more, shocking examples of that narrative must be found. Yarl’s shooting fit the bill. Americans are supposed to believe, as Yarl’s attorney put it, that “blackness is under attack.”
This is a lie. Not only is it a lie, it is a blatantly idiotic and devastatingly counterproductive lie. That lie provides the impetus toward undercutting police presence in high-crime areas; it provides the basis for racially discriminatory governmental policies; it provides the foundation for the argument that all disparities between the races are the result of white discrimination.
The truth is far more troubling: In America, while most violent crime is intra-racial (white on white or black on black, for example), in cases in which blacks and whites have violent interaction, blacks are overwhelmingly the perpetrators, not the victims.
