Social Security & Medicare: The greatest risk to sustaining these entitlements to the American workers who paid into the system is Democrats giving them to illegal immigrants.
We are a country based on the rule of law. When you work, save, invest, and pay taxes… you earn a certain amount of “entitlements” as an American. Certain constitutional rights.
As an illegal immigrant who starts his/her journey to America by breaking the law and ignoring the fundamental principles that do Make America Great, they do NOT deserve the same entitlements or protection under our constitution.
We are a country of immigrants… LEGAL immigrants who have contributed much. My parents immigrated to the United States from Lithuania during World War II and found their piece of the American Dream in an auto factory in Detroit. They worked hard, paid their taxes, earned their citizenship, and were proud patriotic immigrants, while preserving their culture in this great melting pot we call America.
There is much to do to get America back on the right track. It might get messy, but we need resolve and strong leadership. I don’t always agree with everything President Trump says or does… but on balance, he is EXACTLY what America needs today!
Deportation Mistake: Maybe, it’s going to happen. It appears the Trump Administration deported someone in Maryland who was there under a “special immigration status.” The case was taken to court, and the Supreme Court, on a unanimous 9-0 vote, ruled he must be returned to the U.S. The Court warned that the district court could order the government to facilitate but not necessarily “to effectuate” the return.
What the ruling did say was that the district court is expressly ordered to show “due regard for the deference owed to the Executive Branch in the conduct of foreign affairs.”
Remedy the situation and move on. I suspect there will accidentally be others who have permission to be here and will need to work the process through the courts, while others may be wrongfully deported, the law of big numbers comes into play here.
Fix the specific situations and continue toward good policy of deporting illegals as quickly as possible!

These lies are purposely designed to guilt Americans into sacrificing their right to free and fair elections.
The Republican-led House is slated to hold another vote on the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, which would require documentary proof of citizenship to register to vote.
As expected, the propaganda press and left-wing activists have resorted to spreading lies about the legislation to convince the American people that it should be opposed. But these lies are purposely designed to guilt Americans into sacrificing their right to free and fair elections. Here’s how to refute them.
So reads a headline from the AZ Mirror regarding the SAVE Act. Plenty of other outlets are spreading the same propaganda. It was echoed by Teen Vogue, which said the SAVE Act creates “unnecessary and discriminatory barriers” for married women and other groups by creating “excessive documentation requirements.” California Democrat Sen. Alex Padilla’s office peddled the talking point as well, claiming “the bill could restrict the right to vote for approximately 69 million married women whose legal names differ from their birth certificate.”
Trump Knows Tariffs, Laffer Says
Prominent economist Arthur Laffer on Wednesday praised President Trump’s strategy on tariffs, calling Trump a “master gamesman” in negotiations on economics.
Laffer praised Trump’s impact on markets and trade as well, saying that Trump’s approach on the subject shows his unmatched skill in economic negotiation.
“You’ve seen Donald Trump negotiating as no person ever has before. He’s just trying to get reciprocal tariff reduction on [other countries’] part. And he brought them to the table. And they’re coming to the table rapidly,” Laffer told Newsmax.
Trump’s pause in escalating the tariffs brought much needed market relief, and the reaction is a clear signal of investor sentiment, Laffer argued.
Rogers to announce second Senate bid Monday
Mike Rogers has scheduled a campaign kickoff event Monday in Macomb County to announce he is making a second run for the U.S. Senate.
Invitations have gone out to a VIP reception beginning at 5 p.m. at an undisclosed Macomb County location. The invited will be told where the reception is being held when they RSVP.
Rogers’ campaign has not yet responded to a request for comment.
The former Republican congressman from Brighton spent 14 years in the U.S. House before leaving at the end to 2014 to join the private sector.
He got back into politics last year with a bid to capture the Senate seat vacated by the retirement of Democrat Debbie Stabenow of Lansing.
Rogers lost in November to now-Sen. Elissa Slotkin, D-Holly, by a margin of just .3 percentage points, or roughly 20,000 votes.

New Mexico governor declares state of emergency over Albuquerque crime
New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham (D) has declared a state of emergency for Albuquerque, ordering the National Guard to help combat crime in the state’s largest city.
“The safety of New Mexicans is my top priority,” Lujan Grisham said in a statement. “This partnership represents our commitment to addressing the fentanyl crisis and juvenile crime with every resource at our disposal.”
Lujan Grisham, a former member of Congress who is term limited, said the New Mexico National Guard will assist Albuquerque police with essential duties so the city’s law enforcement officers “can focus on what they do best — keeping our communities safe.”
Harold Medina, chief of the Albuquerque Police Department (APD), sent the governor a request for assistance last month.
“When we pool our resources, the impact on crime is dramatic,” he wrote. “This partnership is vital for efficient incident response and reinforcing community trust through visible and professional engagement.”

Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) looked to be one of the top Democrats, if not the top Democrat involved in forcing then President Joe Biden out of his race for reelection last year. She then had the gall to cheer Biden on while at the DNC last August, where then Vice President Kamala Harris was the one being celebrated, as she had been installed as the replacement nominee. Pelosi even laughably offered that he should be added to Mount Rushmore, though that didn’t mean she was any more comfortable on speaking about the ouster. As Bob Hoge highlighted at our sister site for RedState, a new book that came out on Tuesday from Chris Whipple, “Uncharted: How Trump Beat Biden, Harris, and the Odds in the Wildest Campaign in History,” has even more about Pelosi.
Fox News spoke to parts of the book involving Pelosi, and how she acknowledged what we all already knew, that Biden’s mental faculties were declining. At least, she did so privately. Otherwise, she was chief among those gaslighting the American people about what was wrong with the president.

House Republicans push nationwide concealed carry as Trump says Second Amendment has no borders
Rep. Richard Hudson defends nationwide concealed carry bill as ‘common sense’ on ‘America Reports’
House Republicans are renewing efforts to expand concealed carry rights across state lines with a bill known as the Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act.
The legislation would require states to recognize concealed carry permits issued by other states, much like they recognize out-of-state driver’s licenses.
“There’s a lot of words there, but it’s a very common sense, simple piece of legislation,” Rep. Richard Hudson, R-N.C., the bill’s lead sponsor, told “America Reports” Thursday.
“It says that every state should recognize the concealed carry permissions of the other states.”
The proposal has gained support from dozens of Republican lawmakers, along with one Democrat in the past. Backers argue that the bill protects law-abiding gun owners from becoming criminals simply by crossing state lines.
“When law-abiding citizens are traveling, they shouldn’t be turned into criminals because they cross the state line,” Hudson said.
