The far left wants government to be “the answer” while they are consistently proving that it is more often the problem. 2022 and 2024 are key elections to turn our country around.

Biden’s economy is a flaming dumpster fire
Many people are hurting while our leadership doesn’t seem to care.
The economy is in a bad place, and it’s affecting people all over. When will President Joe Biden face it?
I walked around a higher end shopping outlet last week deep on Long Island. It’s the kind of place that upper middle class people go to get a discount on their patio furniture. I kept passing conversations of people astonished at the prices. These are not people who have been astonished at prices before.
They may not have noticed as the gas price ticked up a dollar a gallon and then three. Or when milk went up 20 percent. But they do when the prices at the outlet are what they expect them to be at the regular location.
No one feels sorry for the shopper shocked at the $13,000 couch at the Restoration Hardware outlet – nor should they. But if the price spikes have reached this set, they’ve reached so many other segments of society first.
It’s the same reason former White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki’s comment “the tragedy of the treadmill that’s delayed,” referring to the supply chain crisis, was so tone-deaf. It’s not just expensive couches. It’s not just treadmills. It’s food, clothing. It’s everything. We all know it.
The president, meanwhile, is tweeting through it.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott Takes Unprecedented Action To Address Border Crisis
Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is done playing games with President Joe Biden and his lack of solutions for the migrants at the Southern border, and now he is taking action of his own.
The governor has signed an executive order that has instructed the state’s National Guard to be deployed and to bring the illegal immigrants back to the border.
“While President Biden refuses to do his job and enforce the immigration laws enacted by Congress, the State of Texas is once again stepping up and taking unprecedented action to protect Americans and secure our southern border,” the governor said in the press release on Thursday. “The cartels have become emboldened and enriched by President Biden’s open border policies, smuggling in record numbers of people, weapons, and deadly drugs like fentanyl.”
“As noted in the executive order, the Biden Administration ‘has abandoned the covenant, in Article IV, § 4 of the U.S. Constitution, that ‘[t]he United States . . . shall protect each [State in this Union] against Invasion,’ and thus has forced the State of Texas to build a border wall, deploy state military forces, and enter into agreements as described in Article I, § 10 of the U.S. Constitution to secure the State of Texas and repel the illegal immigration that funds the cartels,’” he said.
“I have authorized the Texas National Guard and Texas Department of Public Safety to begin returning illegal immigrants to the border to stop this criminal enterprise endangering our communities,” he said. “As the challenges on the border continue to increase, Texas will continue to take action to address those challenges caused by the Biden Administration.”
The actions taken in the executive order include:
Hypocrite Schumer-aligned dark money nonprofit raked in record $105 million from anonymous donors, tax forms show
Majority Forward’s shadowy cash primarily makes its way into election activity.
A dark money nonprofit associated with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer topped $100 million in secretive donations for the first time as the New York politician publicly crusaded against dark money’s influence in Washington, tax documents show.
Majority Forward, a nonprofit that obscures its funders and is linked to the Schumer-aligned Senate Majority PAC, pulled in $104.7 million between July 1, 2020, and June 30, 2021, according to its most recent tax forms. The latest cash haul was a $13 million increase over its previous calendar year.
The record year came as Schumer and other Democrats railed against dark money even as they continued to outpace Republicans in its use. Majority Forward, in turn, used its shadowy war chest to steer substantial amounts into electoral activity and bankroll voter engagement efforts.
According to the tax forms, Majority Forward doled out $125 million to other liberal groups during the most recent calendar year – an increase of more than $100 million from what it had passed to different groups the year before, the tax forms show.

Voter Registrations Show Florida Continues to Turn More Red
Florida continues to become more Republican as the 2022 midterm elections approach.
The latest statistics from the Florida Division of Elections showed that the GOP held a nearly 176,000 advantage over Democrats as of May 31.
Official numbers showed 5,135,749 registered Republicans in Florida, 4,959,838 registered Democrats, 3,865,575 unaffiliated, and 255,510 registered with minor parties.
Unofficially, Republicans hold an advantage of more than 180,000 — and that’s expected to grow beyond 200,000 during July, Politico reported.
In May, Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., said that he hoped to flip his state to a solid red with his reelection and substantial wins in the coming election.
“I think that after the election, my goal would be, if we win the election really big, people like you who analyze these things are gonna say, The days of Florida being a swing state are over. Florida is a red state, and I think that’s because of a lot of what we’ve done,” he said on The Truth with Lisa Boothe podcast released May 2.
Historically a battleground state in presidential elections, then-President Donald Trump defeated then-former Vice President Joe Biden in 2020 by 375,000 votes. Four years earlier, Trump beat Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton by 112,911 votes.
Split-ticket districts are disappearing
The number of congressional districts that vote for a House representative and a presidential candidate from opposing parties has plummeted from 190 in 1972 down to 16 in 2020.
Why it matters: The stark numbers are likely a product of the shrinking number of elected Southern Democrats and worsening polarization in the U.S., as well as the decline in competitive districts because of redistricting and the clustering of like-minded populations.
The big picture: For years, Democrats were more likely to win seats in districts that voted for the Republican presidential nominee than the other way around.
Why Russia must lose in Ukraine
NATO’s founding principle was to prevent any power from conquering sovereign states and dominating Europe. Although NATO was not mandated to defend nonmembers, Russia’s war of conquest in Ukraine has exposed Moscow as an expansionist power that must be vanquished if a free Europe is to survive.
Four months into the war, Western leaders are still incapable of articulating a compelling message as to why Russia’s defeat is critical for all NATO countries. As the war grinds on into the summer, the absence of convincing explanations will encourage some politicians to question the rationale for helping Ukraine and thus allow Russia’s disinformation to seep into Western societies. But there are three core reasons Russia must lose this war: freedom, independence, and global security. Any peace deals and compromises in which Ukraine surrenders parts of its sovereignty or territory will be a defeat for Europe and America.
First, as an aggressive power that spreads its autocratic system to other countries, Russia presents the most direct threat to individual freedoms. Confusing statements from U.S. officials about defending the “global liberal order” undermine much-needed political consensus, as in the U.S., “liberal” and “order” are widely interpreted as partisan positions. The stress must be on NATO guaranteeing individual liberties and democratic political options, which Russia systematically violates. In sum, a Ukrainian defeat would constitute a defeat for the basic principles of liberty and seriously damage America’s global influence.
Second, imperial Russia threatens the national independence of all neighbors. It does not respect international borders, discards treaties, and seeks to limit the sovereignty of nearby states. America is founded not only on the pursuit of individual liberty but also on the principle of national independence celebrated every July Fourth. The denial of this principle to any American ally and partner, including Ukraine, will erode the core values of the Western world.
Third, Russia’s triumph in Ukraine will jeopardize global security. The Kremlin would conclude that aggression is beneficial, that the West is weak and divided, and that America lacks stamina. If international sanctions are lifted, a victorious Moscow would rearm and then launch fresh attacks on countries that it covets. This would prove even more financially costly for Washington and could bring Russia closer to an outright conflict with NATO. In sum, a Ukrainian victory can prevent a direct war between the U.S. and Russia.
Russia is disappearing vast numbers of Ukrainians. Thousands have vanished into exile, prison or death.
When russia occupied Bucha, a suburb of Kyiv, in February, most residents fled. But a baker named Matviy stayed to help his neighbours. (The names of the disappeared and their families have been changed for their protection.) On March 18th Russian soldiers burst into his home and took him away at gunpoint, says his sister Natalia: “We have not heard from him since.” Ukraine’s overwhelmed police, prosecutors and human-rights groups have been unable to help.
Bucha is the tip of the iceberg. Thousands of Ukrainians have been abducted from Russian-occupied areas, including activists, journalists and humanitarian workers. Journalists Serhey Tsyhipa and Oleh Baturin were seized on March 12th while reporting on atrocities committed by Russian forces. “They were taken to an unknown place with bags on their heads,” says Anastasia, Mr Tsyhipa’s step-daughter. Mr Tsyhipa eventually appeared on Russian state tv looking thin and spouting Kremlin propaganda.
‘If Putin Was a Woman . . .’
To grasp the Russian president’s worldview, just binge-watch ‘Catherine the Great.’
We live in an age of bad gender punditry, and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has contributed to the confusion. Speaking to German media between the Group of Seven and NATO summits late last month, he offered the following wisdom: “If Putin was a woman, which he obviously isn’t, but if he were, I really don’t think he would have embarked on a crazy, macho war of invasion and violence in the way that he has. If you want a perfect example of toxic masculinity, it’s what he is doing in Ukraine.”
One hopes this was the reflexive and insincere pandering of a career politician, because if Mr. Johnson and his G-7 colleagues actually believe this nonsense, the West is in even greater trouble than it appears.
Vladimir Putin isn’t trying to be more like Rambo. Among other heroes of Russian history, he is trying to imitate Catherine the Great. The most successful of a line of 18th-century rulers, mostly female, who expanded the empire of Peter the Great and made Russia the greatest land power in Europe, Catherine conquered the Crimea and western Ukraine. She won naval battles in the Black Sea and ruthlessly suppressed rebellions at home. Having installed a former lover as king of Poland, she gleefully took the lion’s share of that unhappy country while partitioning it three times.
Americans hoping to get beyond stereotypes to grasp Mr. Putin’s worldview should spend some time on the couch binge-watching “Ekaterina: The Rise of Catherine the Great.” This lushly produced costume drama, made with funding from the Russian Ministry of Information and presented in Russian with English subtitles on Amazon Prime, lets viewers see Russia the way Mr. Putin wants Russians to see it. It provides more insight into Putinist thinking than all the bloviations of the G-7 leaders.
