America – Love It or Leave It!: America is more than just a country, it’s an idea. The principles of freedom, liberty, equality and opportunity for all. We live in the greatest country in the world. The only country that people are willing to risk their lives to enter…both legally and illegally.
What makes us unique is that it’s NOT the government that gives us our rights, it’s that we are endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights, that we as a country have accepted to be self evident.
It doesn’t mean we’re perfect. It doesn’t mean there isn’t room for improvement, reform, evolution and better providing for the pursuit of happiness for all.
But there is no country in the world where white, black, Hispanic, Asian, etc., share the freedoms and rights with Christians, Jews, Muslim, Atheist, etc., to practice their faith, traditions and culture…ALL protected by the rule of law. We pride ourselves in striving for justice to be blind…providing (or at least striving) for equality for all.
We have racists in our society, we have marxists and revolutionaries that would love to destroy our country, we have some bad cops, politicians, teachers, lawyers and others in power. But with all of that…we still have the greatest system of government the world has ever known, with its faults and room for improvement.
But because of those fundamental rights afforded to all, there is NO excuse for rioting, looting, killing, beating, harassing and intimidating others…of ANY political persuasion. Freedom of speech, assembly and the right to defend those rights is paramount.
You want another revolution, make it happen at the ballot box not at the end of a gun, torch, brick or hammer. Destroying our western civilization and culture in the name of equality or justice is little more than a cheap slogan too many are willing to take advantage of.
If you share the leftist agenda of progressives, liberals, ANTIFA, BLM and other groups advocating to defund the police, destroy our history and culture, create some socialist utopian experiment that has never succeeded in any country in the world at any time in hour history…go ahead and vote for the Democrats who empower and encourage this kind of behavior.
The Republicans are far from perfect…but elections are about choices and we are at a crossroads in America that is about to hit the suburbs, small town USA and rural America.
Pay attention to what their agenda is. There is NO reason to NOT believe their statements, policies initiatives and objectives.
It almost doesn’t matter who is running for President…because it’s the government and policies around that president that will determine what American looks like for the next generation.
Think long and hard before you cast a “knee jerk” vote for one party or another. The parties, president and the old way of thinking that it really doesn’t matter has gone up in flames in cities like Portland, New York and Chicago.
The fascists on the left are emboldened and powerful. They have hijacked the Democratic Party and until mainstream America stands up to them…the current leadership is just willing to go along to get along because they “hope” it accomplishes their agenda?!
I think they have NO idea what they have started or how to control it.
This is NOT our parent’s Democratic party. Both John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King would be appalled by what’s happening in the streets and in the world of politics today.
A little prayer and reflection would do us all well.
We can start by rejecting the culture of hate…and try and solve some problems together.

The media’s mischaracterization of Trump’s Mount Rushmore speech is not an anomaly
“We believe in equal opportunity, equal justice and equal treatment for citizens of every race, background, religion and creed.” —President Trump, July 3, 2020, Mount Rushmore.
I missed President Trump’s Mount Rushmore speech Friday night, so when I read the press coverage over the weekend I braced for the worst. The New York Times reported that Trump had delivered an “ominous depiction of the recent protests over racial justice” and “exploit[ed] race and cultural flash points to stoke fear among his base of white supporters.” The Associated Press declared that he had “accus[ed] protesters who have pushed for racial justice of engaging in a ‘merciless campaign to wipe out our history.’”
Then I watched the full address. None of it was true. “We embrace tolerance, not prejudice,” Trump said. “Every child, of every color — born and unborn — is made in the holy image of God.” He praised great black Americans including Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, Jesse Owens, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald and Muhammad Ali, declaring that “only America could have produced them all.”
Standing beneath the image of Abraham Lincoln, Trump declared, “Lincoln won the Civil War; he issued the Emancipation Proclamation; he led the passage of the 13th Amendment, abolishing slavery for all time.” The crowd cheered at his mention of the abolition of slavery, which got zero mentions in the coverage of his address. Trump explained that “by tearing down Washington and Jefferson, these radicals … would tear down the principles that propelled the abolition of slavery in America and, ultimately, around the world, ending an evil institution that had plagued humanity for thousands and thousands of years.” He declared, “Our opponents would tear apart the very documents that Martin Luther King used to express his dream, and the ideas that were the foundation of the righteous movement for Civil Rights.” To the Times, this amounts to “stoking racial fears to pit a white voting base against nationwide calls for social justice.”
The mischaracterization of the Mount Rushmore speech is not an anomaly. Trump’s critics in the media have fallen into an insidious habit of taking his quotes criticizing the hordes who burn buildings and tear down statues, and reporting them as criticism of “racial justice protesters.” This is dishonest. Trump has said more than once that he is “an ally of all peaceful protesters.”
He’s not the one blurring the lines between violent mobs and peaceful protesters; his media critics are. They know most Americans oppose the mob but support racial justice, and so they twist Trump’s words to make it seem like he opposes both. Trump says and tweets plenty of outrageous things, but that doesn’t give reporters license to make them up.
The Press on Mount Rushmore
Every American, regardless of how he or she feels about Donald Trump, should read his July 3 speech at Mount Rushmore and then the Washington Post account of the speech by Robert Costa and Philip Rucker. The Post account begins: “President Trump’s unyielding push to preserve Confederate symbols and the legacy of white domination, crystallized by his harsh denunciation of the racial justice movement Friday night at Mount Rushmore . . .”
Except that Mr. Trump made no reference to the Confederacy or any of its symbols. His only reference to the Civil War was to Abraham Lincoln and the abolition of slavery as a fulfillment of the American Revolution.
Sen. Tammy Duckworth, as many commentators on the right noted, also lied when she said Mr. Trump “spent all his time talking about dead traitors.” He mentioned not a single leader or champion of the Confederacy.
In its own account, though hardly friendly to Mr. Trump, the New York Times went out of its way to counter these rampant distortions, reporting that Mr. Trump “avoided references . . . to the symbols of the Confederacy that have been a target of many protests.”
Americans Defund Democrats in Statehouse Elections as Democrats Seek to Defund Police
Americans significantly decreased contributions to Democrats running for state legislature seats in the second quarter as the Democrat Party has turned hard left, fundraising information announced this week shows.
The lackluster performance by Democrats at the state level could have broader national implications. First off, state-level political trends sometimes forecast later looming national trends—”from the State House to the White House,” the saying goes.
But more importantly, the state legislatures elected this year will handle redistricting next year heading into the 2022 cycle—influencing the direction of and perhaps control of the U.S. House of Representatives for the next decade.
The drop-off in Democrat Legislative Campaign Committee (DLCC) fundraising—which has Democrats $20 million shy of their stated cycle-long goal of $50 million total—comes as their Republican counterparts nearly doubled the total raised by Democrats in the second quarter.
The DLCC and its affiliated organizations in the second quarter of 2020 pulled in just $5.8 million, the party committee responsible for electing Democrats to state House and state Senate chambers nationwide announced this week. That means the DLCC has pulled in around $30 million total this whole cycle, $20 million short of the committee’s stated $50 million cycle-long goal.
Movement for Black Lives seeks sweeping legislative changes
Proposed federal legislation that would radically transform the nation’s criminal justice system through such changes as eliminating agencies like the Drug Enforcement Administration and the use of surveillance technology was unveiled Tuesday by the Movement for Black Lives.
Dubbed the BREATHE Act, the legislation is the culmination of a project led by the policy table of the Movement for Black Lives, a coalition of more than 150 organizations. It comes at an unprecedented moment of national reckoning around police brutality and systemic racism that has spurred global protests and cries for change after several high-profile killings of Black Americans, including George Floyd.
“We stand on the shoulders of giants and there has been 400 years of work that Black people have done to try to get us closer to freedom,” Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors said.
“This moment is a watershed moment. I think this moment calls for structural change and transformative change in ways that we haven’t seen in a very long time. We see this opportunity to push for the BREATHE Act as a part of what we’re calling the modern-day civil rights act.”
The proposed changes, first shared with The Associated Press, are sweeping and likely to receive robust pushback from lawmakers who perceive the legislation as too radical.

Is America on the edge of a cultural revolution?
The historical namesake and obvious parallel is the Cultural Revolution in China, which lasted from 1966 to 1976. Its stated goal was to purge capitalist and traditional elements from society, and to substitute a new way of thinking based on Mao’s own beliefs. The epic struggle for control and power waged war against anybody on the wrong side of an idea.
To set the mobs on somebody, one needed only to tie him to an official blacklist like the Four Olds (old customs, culture, habits, and ideas). China’s young people and urban workers formed Red Guard units to go after whomever was outed. Violence? Yes, please. When Mao launched the movement in May 1966, he told his mobs to “bombard the headquarters” and made clear that “to rebel is justified.” He said “revisionists should be removed through violent class struggle.” The old thinkers were everywhere and were systematically trying to preserve their power and subjugate the people.
China engaged in large-scale campaign to subvert U.S. government, private sector: FBI
Chinese intelligence agents and diplomats are actively subverting U.S. policies through bribery, blackmail and covert influence operations, FBI Director Christopher A. Wray said Tuesday in a major policy address.
The operations, the FBI chief said, are part of large-scale intelligence activities by China to recruit spies and steal information.
“The greatest long-term threat to our nation’s information, intellectual property and to our economic vitality is the counterintelligence and economic espionage threat from China,” Mr. Wray told an audience at the Hudson Institute think tank.
The Chinese operations range from traditional spying — recruiting agents inside government — to cyberattacks and data theft aimed at obtaining cutting-edge U.S. technology. The theft has hit Fortune 100 companies down to small startup businesses.
The speech by Mr. Wray is part of a concerted Trump administration effort to highlight what U.S. leaders see as the dangers and threats posed by China’s Communist Party leadership at a time when relations between Washington and Beijing are strained on a number of fronts.

The City of Seattle held a segregated training session for white staffers last month in which they instructed workers on how to ‘undo their whiteness’ and affirm their ‘complicity in racism’, reports suggest.
Titled ‘Interrupting Internalized Racial Superiority and Whiteness’, the training session was reportedly held by the Office of Civil Rights on June 12, the same day protesters took part in the CHOP zone demonstrations in the Capitol Hill district.
Christopher F. Rufo, an editor for City Journal and director of the Discovery Institute’s Center on Wealth and Poverty, unearthed the session’s existence after filing a Freedom of Information request last week, which was approved Monday.
One handout distributed in the two-and-a-half hour session reportedly read that ‘racism is not our fault but we are responsible.’
Another said white staffers must give up ‘the land’ and their ‘guaranteed physical safety’ in order to be an ‘accomplice’ for racial justice.
Terrified Academics Withdraw Study Showing White Cops Aren’t Killing More Blacks
The authors of a 2019 study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences that examined “917 fatal police shootings of civilians from 2015 to test whether the race of the officer or the civilian predicted fatal police shootings” was withdrawn by the authors after being cited by noted conservative author and essayist Heather MacDonald.
Psychologists Joseph Cesario of Michigan State and David Johnson of the University of Maryland say they stand behind their work, which concludes there was “no significant evidence of anti-black disparity in the likelihood of being fatally shot by the police.” But they objected to its “misuse.” MacDonald cited the study in congressoinal testimony last September and again in an article for City Journal. But it wasn’t until her June 3 op-ed for the Wall Street Journal that cited the study when there were “complications” on campus and outraged wokesters demanded that the profs be flogged — or something.
New Steele evidence strengthens Durham prosecution as frustration over inaction grows
It was in London that the whole Russia collusion caper began four years ago, so it seems only fitting that as the discredited probe enters its final phase that damning new evidence of the FBI’s failures would emerge back in England.
This week when a British judge ruled against the former FBI human source Christopher Steele, the decision delivered more than an order for the former spy’s company to pay damages to two Russian businessmen maligned by his dossier.
It also introduced new incontrovertible evidence that bolsters Attorney General William Barr’s and U.S. Attorney John Durham’s probe into whether the FBI engaged in misconduct and criminally deceived the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court to win permission to spy on the Trump campaign.
Richard Grenell: Biden was ‘manipulating intelligence’
Former Vice President Joe Biden was “manipulating intelligence” during the final days of the Obama administration, according to President Trump’s ex-spy chief.
Richard Grenell, who declassified documents related to the Russia investigation during his monthslong tenure as acting director of national intelligence, told Newsmax TV that the Obama administration “weaponized intelligence” between the 2016 election and Inauguration Day.
He claimed Biden, who is now the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, played a leading role in an effort to undermine President-elect Trump.
“We now know that the vice president of the United States, Joe Biden at the time, was in January … looking for information, manipulating intelligence,” Grenell said on Thursday.
If You Want To Defund Something, Start With Higher Education
If we’re going to defund major American institutions, the place to start is not the police but higher education. America’s colleges and universities have largely abandoned their genuine mission in favor of polemics and proselytization, while slamming the door to viewpoint diversity and open debate. All this they provide at tremendous expense to taxpayers as well as ideological and financial ruin to the nation’s young people.
Higher education must be significantly reconstructed. We must eliminate systems of viewpoint discrimination, stop the erasure of legitimate taxpayer interests, and end the economic disenfranchisement of America’s youth brought about by saddling them with mountainous debt to maintain administrative and tenured-professorial privilege.

According to a report from the Washington Examiner citing investigative reporter John Solomon’s solid sources at the Department of Justice, the answer could be yes.
U.S. Attorney John Durham, tapped by Attorney General Bill Barr to investigate the predicate of the Russia collusion probe of Trump’s 2016 campaign, has been notoriously tight-lipped about what exactly he’s uncovered.
U.S. Rep. Devin Nunes, ranking Republican member of the House Intelligence Committee and an early player in what would manifest into Durham’s full blown investigation, noted last month the lack of leaks from Durham’s team was a good sign.
Can You Blame Them? Legions of New York’s Finest Are Submitting Their Exit Papers
New York City has been the epicenter for the coronavirus outbreak in the United States. It’s also been engulfed in the rioting over the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis Police. The city was overtaken by the mob, with rioters committing arson, vandalism, and various thefts. The looting during these nationwide protests overall has been devastating. The destruction of parts of Minneapolis has been nothing short of tragic. On top of these security situations, we have Democrats mayors, governors, and other politicians trashing police.
“Defund the police” is now the position, but the media has been trying to say the Left really doesn’t mean that; it’s about the reallocation of resources. Yeah, that got blown up by lefty politicians and activists who submitted op-eds and did interviews where they said defunding the police means…defunding the police. The earwax build-up with these clowns in newsrooms across the country is truly disturbing. Seriously, who thought this meant something else? When we say we’re going to commit regicide, we’re not talking about killing the monarch, only to make way for discussions about constitutional restraints on the institution. I’m paraphrasing, but that was one hilarious tweet from someone who was mocking the liberal media’s pathetic pivot and damage control on the subject.
