Democrats Desperate – Willing to Say and Do Anything to Keep their Power

Peace won’t be easy, but we must reject the trap of making a false choice. It is possible to end the war for Ukraine, preserve our moral clarity by holding Russia accountable and advance America’s long-term national interests in the process. This is a Ronald Reagan moment, and the stakes for all of us are too high to waver in our resolve.

– Congressman Don Bacon

A society which aims for equality before liberty will end up with neither equality nor liberty.

– Milton Friedman

Last time I checked, the Constitution doesn’t give district court judges the power to legislate from the bench.

– U.S. Senator Markwayne Mullin

Why the First Amendment is Important: All this WOKE crap progressives are pushing on America… particularly in our schools, is dangerous.

Let’s remember that the First Amendment gives you freedom of speech, not the freedom to silence others when they offend you.

Liberty, tolerance, and civil debate are key to a free society.

Imagine This: Senator Chuck Schumer, Democrat House Leader Hakeem Jeffries, and Democrat organizations are suing to block President Trump’s Executive Order that keeps illegal foreigners from voting in Federal elections?!?

How in any normal world does this make sense??? Although it does give you a better idea why Obama and Biden opened the borders to illegals and handed out millions of fake social security numbers.

How can they make the argument this is/was good for America?!?

Voters are waking up.

Democrat’s Brown Shirts: It’s come to this. Now you know why Democrats have activated their brown shirts to attack Teslas and Tesla dealers?

Elon just uncovered over 2.4 million illegal aliens being given social security numbers, welfare benefits, and voter registrations. These paid “activists” and criminals are not protestors…they deserve to be arrested and put in prison.

Civil society is at risk.

DOGE has uncovered massive Democrat fraud. Demonizing a wealthy American who is sacrificing much to make our country better is all they’ve got.

No alternative policies, no alternative leaders… just brownshirt tactics and opposition to everything Trump.

Savage Russia must return the Ukrainian children it has abducted

In recent months, the world has closely followed discussions about ending the war – the war Russia began against Ukraine eleven years ago with the occupation of Crimea. For the past three years, Ukraine has endured a full-scale invasion: daily missile strikes, the destruction of civilian infrastructure, and the killing of innocent people.

But behind the frontlines and explosions, another crime is unfolding that is less visible but no less devastating: the abduction of Ukrainian children. This crime threatens the future even more deeply than ruined cities.

That is why a ceasefire alone cannot bring the war to an end. If the humanitarian dimension – the return of our citizens, including children – is not firmly built into the peace process, the peace can be neither lasting nor just.

Florida election exposes deep divisions within GOP

Republicans survived Tuesday’s special elections for two congressional seats in Florida, but the races exposed deep frustrations in President Trump’s team over the House GOP’s political apparatus.

Why it matters: The growing angst comes as Republicans are holding onto a narrow congressional majority in an uncertain political environment.

It’s also unfolding as Democrats looking to the 2026 midterms were heartened by Tuesday’s closer-than-expected results in Florida — and by a Democrat-backed state Supreme Court candidate in Wisconsin who overcame Elon Musk’s massive spending for her opponent.

Dem fundraiser ActBlue made donation standards ‘more lenient,’ received foreign contributions during 2024 election: internal docs

Democratic fundraising powerhouse ActBlue changed its fraud policy twice during the 2024 campaign, implementing “more lenient” standards that let foreign and other suspicious donor money flow into US campaigns, according to internal company documents and other records exclusively obtained by The Post.

The ActBlue fraud-prevention standards changed in April 2024 and again that September, with the relaxed guidelines allowing between 14 and 28 more fraudulent contributions per month.

Under the updated policy, up to 6.4% of total ActBue donations that should have been rejected for fraud were missed.

The platform had already allowed donors to give money without a card verification value (CVV) for transactions until January 2024 — roughly halfway through the election cycle — and the new standards still instructed ActBlue employees to “look for reasons to accept contributions.”

‘JD Vance 2028’ is far from a lock

In the media world, the phrase “developing story” refers to the potential for new facts and changing circumstances that can alter the reporting. Thus, Vice President JD Vance’s apparent quest to win his boss’s job three and a half years from now is the perpetually “developing story” that began less than 24 hours after President Trump’s second inauguration.

Officially, “Vance 2028” is merely political speculation. The vice president has not announced his presidential intentions, commented, hinted, or established any campaign infrastructure, except for various iterations of JDVance2028.com, reserved at GoDaddy.

‘He Was Gone’: Gingrich Says Special Committees Must Probe Biden’s Mental Fitness And Ask Four Serious Questions

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich appeared on Fox News Thursday and called for the creation of either a joint House-Senate committee or a special commission to investigate whether Joe Biden was mentally incapacitated during his term as president and also whether White House staff concealed it.

In Chris Whipple’s new book, former top aide Ron Klain revealed that during debate preparations Biden often struggled and would fall asleep. During an appearance on “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Gingrich said that the investigation should not only uncover the truth about Biden’s mental fitness but also determine the constitutional implications when people who aren’t president make decisions on the president’s behalf.

Poll: AOC leads Schumer in head-to-head New York primary matchup by double digits

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is leading Chuck Schumer by double digits in a new head-to-head poll of the 2028 New York primary.

The survey by the liberal firm Data for Progress, first shared with POLITICO, found that 55 percent of Democratic likely voters said they supported or leaned toward supporting Rep. Ocasio-Cortez, while 36 percent backed or leaned toward backing Sen. Schumer. Nine percent were undecided.

The poll is the latest sign that Schumer’s standing among the Democratic base has taken a hit since he voted to advance a GOP funding bill last month that avoided a government shutdown. The fact that Data for Progress conducted and released the poll also underscores that liberal organizations are continuing to look for ways to prod Schumer to take a tougher stance against President Donald Trump.

Why voter ID won in Wisconsin

Hours after Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) finished breaking former South Carolina Sen. Strom Thurmond’s record for the longest speech in Senate history, Wisconsin overwhelmingly voted in favor of adding voter identification requirements to the state’s constitution on the same night its voters sent a Democrat to the state’s Supreme Court.

The Wisconsin voter identification win is so noteworthy as Booker finished his mock filibuster of more than 24 hours because state voter ID laws were the reason then-President Joe Biden and then-Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) pushed to end the Senate’s filibuster rule in 2022.

It may seem like ancient history now, but back when Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema were still Democratic senators, they supported the For the People Act, which banned states from implementing voter identification requirements, as part of a larger effort to federalize elections.

DOGE uncovers VA’s agreement to pay $380K per month for minor website modifications

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) paid hundreds of thousands of dollars a month for website changes before canceling the contract and having an internal staffer take over, according to the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

While combing through loads and loads of data, DOGE discovered a previous contract by the VA for its website maintenance.

“Good work by @DeptVetAffairs,” DOGE said in a post on X on Wednesday. “VA was previously paying ~$380,000/month for minor website modifications. That contract has not been renewed, and the same work is now being executed by 1 internal VA software engineer spending ~10 hours/week.”

VA Secretary Doug Collins has defended DOGE cuts at the VA as part of the new administration’s efforts to reform the department and better serve veterans.

Reagan secured peace through strength, Trump is betting he can achieve prosperity the same way

What happened in the White House Rose Garden on Wednesday afternoon can’t be underestimated, an undeniable shot heard throughout the world of global trade. President Donald Trump imposed a nearly universal 10% tax on most foreign products entering the United States, and in so doing ended the era of free trade.

The legacy of Trump’s gamble won’t be written in the first few weeks after the imposition of these new and historic tariffs – though legacy news media will try to gauge it through the certain volatility of investment markets in the next few weeks.

In his announcement Wednesday afternoon, Trump made clear he had no qualms ending the era of free trade and replacing it with an era of fair trade – fair to America that is.

“Now it’s our turn to prosper, and in so doing, use trillions and trillions of dollars to reduce our taxes and pay down our national debt,” Trump declared.

Bipartisan senators introduce primary, secondary Russia sanctions

Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) introduced legislation on Tuesday seeking to impose primary and secondary sanctions against Russia if it does not agree to long lasting peace with its neighboring country, Ukraine.

The two were joined by a group of 50 lawmakers who agreed to support sanctions on Russia in addition to a 500 percent tariff on imported goods from countries that buy Russian oil, gas, uranium and other products if efforts to end the war are not advanced.

“The sanctions against Russia require tariffs on countries who purchase Russian oil, gas, uranium and other products. They are hard hitting for a reason,” the Senators wrote in a Tuesday release.

Budget-Busting Climate Provisions in the Inflation Reduction Act Must Go

The 2022 Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) was badly mistitled and intentionally so.

President Joe Biden and congressional Democrats took advantage of Americans’ desire for a response to high prices for food, fuel, and other basic consumer goods. The people of the United States wanted the government to reduce inflation, not understanding that inflation itself was the direct consequence of federal overspending and various federal and international policies hampering supply. When demand outpaces supply, and the Treasury floods the economy with more dollars, prices rise.

In truth, the IRA was a backdoor effort to impose the Green New Deal scam that Biden and company had tried and failed to pass through Congress previously. Biden promised an all-of-government approach to fighting climate change, and the IRA was the vehicle. It passed without a single Republican voting in favor of it.

Critics of the law warned of its inflationary effects, but the mainstream media chose to ignore this.

Trump extends TikTok deal deadline by 75 days, touts ‘tremendous progress’

President Donald Trump on Friday said that he will extend the deadline for TikTok’s owner to find a non-Chinese buyer by 75 days, averting what could have been another disruption of the app.

ByteDance, the Chinese company that owns TikTok, must find a non-Chinese buyer for the app or else it will be banned under a law passed in 2024. Trump had previously delayed the app’s ban via executive order on his first day in office, effectively giving ByteDance until April 5 — Saturday — to comply with the law.

“My Administration has been working very hard on a Deal to SAVE TIKTOK, and we have made tremendous progress,” he wrote in a Truth Social post. “The Deal requires more work to ensure all necessary approvals are signed, which is why I am signing an Executive Order to keep TikTok up and running for an additional 75 days.”

ByteDance had previously said it did not plan to sell TikTok. It had largely remained silent about whether it was in talks with bidders and had not publicly confirmed it would divest at all.

Record number of election bills enacted as Republican-led states outpace Democratic states

A record number of election bills have advanced through state legislatures during this year’s sessions as Republican states outpace Democratic states with election administration priorities.

At least 3,505 bills and resolutions regarding elections have been introduced in state legislatures this year. Many of the bills working through state legislatures prioritize election integrity, with the majority of them being introduced by Republicans. However, even in Democratic-led states, which usually focus on voter access, fewer election bills have been introduced in their legislatures.

According to Ballotpedia’s State of Election Administration Legislation Spring Report that was released last month, the 3,500-plus bills and resolutions regarding elections that had been introduced in the legislatures as of March 11, is nearly the same number of election bills that have been pushed in each of the last two years, and has already surpassed 2022.
