Whistleblower: The Biden-Harris Administration Is Sabotaging Trump’s Campaign
With the election nearly a month away and Donald Trump seeing some momentum in these final, crucial weeks, the Biden-Harris administration may be trying to undermine Trump’s ability to campaign in key swing states. We’re now learning that Trump recently had to cancel a planned campaign rally in the battleground state of Wisconsin after the Secret Service denied him adequate protection resources.
On Tuesday, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) addressed the issue in a letter to the acting director of the Secret Service, Ronald Rowe. He referenced allegations from a whistleblower who claimed that the cancellation was due to the agency’s lack of “sufficient assets” to ensure the safety of the Republican presidential nominee.
“I write concerning new whistleblower allegations that the U.S. Secret Service effectively forced the Trump campaign to cancel an upcoming event in Wisconsin,” Hawley wrote. “This new information calls into question your recent public statements regarding the level of security your agency is providing to the former president. It also suggests that the Secret Service’s inability to fully protect former President Trump may be affecting the conduct of the
This is serious claim, not just because it raises doubts about the ability of the Secret Service to protect Donald Trump, but because Wisconsin is a key battleground state. Trump narrowly won Wisconsin in 2016, only to lose by approximately 20,000 votes in 2020.
While Kamala Harris has a slight advantage in Wisconsin according to the polls, she’s polling behind where both Biden and Hillary Clinton polled in their respective races against Trump. If the polls in 2024 are off by similar or even slightly smaller margins this year as they were in past years, Trump may be marginally ahead in Wisconsin.
Hawley continued, “At your recent press conference on September 20, you stated that former President Trump is receiving ‘the highest level of Secret Service protection’ and ‘he’s getting everything’ that ‘the current president has with respect to Secret Service assets.’ That same night, Secret Service secured a rally for Vice President Haris in Madison, Wisconsin.”
So the Secret Service — an agency under the Biden-Harris administration — is essentially weaponizing federal resources to stifle Trump’s campaigning efforts in a pivotal swing state.

The presidential campaign season is once again turning politicians into pandering game show hosts, promising voters huge tax cuts and spending expansions with no regard to the debt crisis these policies will accelerate.
Budget deficits are set to exceed $2 trillion this year — despite relative peace and prosperity — and then surge to $4 trillion within a decade under current policies.
For the first time since the end of World War II, the federal debt will top 100% of the gross domestic product.
The impending completion of the Biden-Harris administration brings an opportunity to assess their role in these rising deficits.
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris surely inherited an economic and fiscal mess. President Donald Trump had already signed legislation and executive orders adding $4 trillion to 10-year deficits before the bipartisan pandemic response added $4 trillion more.
Kamala Harris: The Anti-Religious Freedom Candidate
A recent poll by the Pew Research Center found that Donald J. Trump is winning the Catholic and Protestant vote. Conducted from Aug. 26-Sept. 2, the survey found that 52 percent of Catholics and 61 percent of Protestants support Trump for president, while 47 percent of Catholics and 37 percent of Protestants back Kamala Harris.
As more Americans become aware of how radical Harris is, it’s clear to see why Trump has won this support from religious voters. Harris may have been the surprise replacement for Joe Biden, but her position on issues is far from unknown. She claims to be a future-oriented, change candidate eager to “turn the page and chart a new way forward.” However, Harris is a professional politician with a radical policy record that she can’t defend among the religious electorate.
Consider that in 2014, in the case of Burwell v. Hobby Lobby, Attorney General Harris filed an amicus brief with the U.S. Supreme Court and was joined by 13 states and the District of Columbia. Harris called on the court to force Hobby Lobby to violate its religious beliefs and cover the cost of contraception for its employees. (The Supreme Court ruled in favor of Hobby Lobby, protecting the family-owned arts and crafts chain to operate its business in line with its religious beliefs and values.)
Also as Attorney General of California, Harris was a vocal advocate and “proud” co-sponsor of the Reproductive FACT Act, which Gov. Jerry Brown signed into law in 2015. The law required medically licensed pro-life pregnancy centers to display signs advertising low-cost or free abortions available in California.
The law “was very clear that it was targeting pro-life viewpoints,” said Denise Harle, who served as senior counsel at the Alliance Defending Freedom. In a 2018 decision, the Supreme Court agreed with this view and struck down the law. Writing for the majority in National Institute of Family and Life Advocates v. Becerra (initially named NIFLA vs. Kamala Harris), Justice Clarence Thomas wrote in the majority opinion, “the FACT Act unduly burdens protected speech.”
As a U.S. Senator of California from 2017-2021, Harris introduced and was the lead sponsor of the Do No Harm Act, which would have ended religious exemptions for certain government mandates, such as rules requiring insurance coverage of specific medical procedures. As a legal expert at First Liberty wrote at the time, “This country was founded on religious liberty. The Do No Harm Act strikes at the heart of that freedom.”
Failure To Pass SAVE Act Proves Republicans Aren’t Serious About Winning
Weakness is not a luxury that the GOP can afford right now.
Last week, nearly all the House Democrats, along with 14 Republicans, voted against a stopgap bill that would have funded the government for another six months and included the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, which would prevent noncitizens from voting in this coming election by requiring them to show proof of citizenship when registering to vote.
Consequently, as former editor for The Federalist Chris Bedford recently noted, Congress (including several of its GOP members) has “killed the House Republicans’ momentum and leverage” in failing to pass this bill in the House.
Knowing this, it should surprise no one that Republicans just voted for the same bill without the SAVE Act this week, upending any hope of passing the SAVE Act before the election or in the foreseeable future. Worse still, according to Bedford, this likely means they will revisit this spending issue in December and probably cave again to demands to pass an omnibus that would effectively prevent an incoming Trump administration from cutting programs and ending American involvement in foreign conflicts.

Cory Mills, R-Fla.; Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Ala.; Rep. Matt Rosendale, R-Mont.; Rep. Greg Steube, R-Fla.; and Rep. Beth Van Duyne, R-Texas.
The bro vote: Trump and Harris duel over what it means to be a man in America
It might have seemed like a curious pairing. There was former President Donald Trump inside his Mar-a-Lago home. Next to him was a 23-year-old internet celebrity known for livestreaming video games.
“We’re going to get some good ratings today,” the 78-year-old Trump said to the host, Adin Ross, at the top of a 77-minute friendly livestreamed interview last month viewed 2.6 million times on YouTube.
Yet this was hardly a detour from the 2024 campaign trail for the Republican nominee. The young, largely male audience Ross attracts – particularly people not usually tuned in to politics – made his livestream an ideal forum for Trump.

Is Donald Trump on track to win a historic share of voters of color in November’s presidential election?
On the surface, it’s one of the most confounding questions of the Trump years in American politics. Trump — and the Republican Party in his thrall — has embraced anti-immigrant policies and proposals, peddled racist stereotypes, and demonized immigrants. So why does it look like he might win over and hold the support of greater numbers of nonwhite voters than the Republican Party of years past?
In poll after poll, he’s hitting or exceeding the levels of support he received in 2020 from Latino and Hispanic voters. He’s primed to make inroads among Asian American voters, whose Democratic loyalty has gradually been declining over the last few election cycles. And the numbers he’s posting with Black voters suggest the largest racial realignment in an election since the signing of the Civil Rights Act in 1964.
There are a plethora of explanations for this shift, but first, some points of clarification. The pro-Trump shift is concentrated among Hispanic and Latino voters, though it has appeared to be spreading to parts of the Black and Asian American electorate.
Second, things have changed since Vice President Kamala Harris took over the Democratic ticket in late July. Polling confirms that Harris has posted significant improvements among nonwhite voters, young voters, Democrats, and suburban voters. In other words, Harris has managed to revive the party’s standing with its base, suggesting that a part of Trump’s gains were due to unique problems that Biden had with these groups of voters. Thus, it’s not entirely clear to what extent this great racial realignment, as some have described the Trump-era phenomenon, will manifest itself in November.
Still, Democrats aren’t in the clear. That same polling suggests that, despite Harris’s improvements, she is still underperforming both Biden’s support at this point in the 2020 polls and the margins of victory Biden ended up winning on Election Day. These numbers, especially the results among Latino and Hispanic voters, should be worrisome to Democrats: Biden did rather poorly among Latino voters relative to other candidates from the current century, resulting in Trump posting numbers not seen by a Republican since George W. Bush ran for reelection in 2004, and Harris could perform even more poorly.
The Kamala Harris mass amnesty plan
Vice President Kamala Harris has proved capable of implicitly but unconvincingly reversing herself on many issues, including immigration, since she became the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee, which is why her decision not to repudiate her 2019 mass amnesty plan is so alarming.
In 2019, Harris distinguished herself from the 2020 Democratic primary field by promising to use unilateral executive power to grant permanent amnesty to so-called Dreamers and 6 million other illegal immigrants.
Specifically, she said she would create a “first of its kind” parole-in-place program for participants in President Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program — the Dreamers. Through the intricacies of immigration law, this designation could set Dreamers and all other immigrants on a path to citizenship without legislation.
Parole in place began as an extralegal program created by Obama in 2013 to benefit the spouses, children, and parents of current and former members of the armed forces. Spouses of any citizen can apply for citizenship, but they are ineligible if they entered the country illegally. Obama solved this problem by granting them “parole in place,” which essentially changed their past illegal entry into a lawful parole entry.
Fed chair Jerome Powell blames influx of illegal migrants for rising unemployment rate
Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell blamed the migrant crisis for the nation’s growing unemployment after cutting the benchmark interest rate by 0.5 percentage point on Wednesday for the first time since early days of COVID-19.
“If you’re having millions of people come into the labor force, then — and you’re creating 100,000 jobs — you’re going to see unemployment go up,” Powell told reporters, answering a question about the nation’s current monthly job creation.
“So it really depends on what’s the trend underlying the volatility of people coming into the country.”

Ford’s Massive Retreat From EVs, Explained
In August, Ford announced it was spiking its plan to roll out an all-electric three-row SUV, citing low consumer demand and a crowded market.
“We’re seeing a tremendous amount of competition,” John Lawler, Ford vice chair and CFO, told journalists in a conference call. “In fact, S&P Global … said that there’s about 143 EVs in the pipeline right now for North America — and most of those are two-row and three-row SUVs.”
The news that Ford was scrapping its SUV EV came just a month after the company announced a manufacturing pivot at its plant in Oakville, Ontario. The plant, which had been earmarked for EV production, was shifting production to Ford’s F-series pickups, its flagship gas-powered trucks.
“The move,” the New York Times reported, “is the latest example of how automakers are pulling back on aggressive investment plans in response to the slowing growth of electric vehicle sales.”
