Mike Huckabee Joins ’60 Plus’ Town Hall to Rally Overflow Crowd of Seniors on Healthcare

Huckabee: “Repealing and replacing Obamacare is THE issue of this campaign.”

(Miramar Beach, Florida) – Former Arkansas Governor and current Fox News personality Mike Huckabee joined with the 60 Plus Association, in the midst of their national “Let’s Do Better” healthcare bus tour, to host an overflow crowd of seniors and their families to repeal and replace Obamacare.

The bus is making a return trip to Florida to conclude its 12 state tour that began in Florida in August before making stops in GA, SC, NC, VA, PA, NY, OH, IN, IL, WI and MN.  60 Plus has held over 100 town halls the past year to serve as a sounding board for seniors, and currently boasts over 2,000 signatures on its bus, the “rolling postcard,” that will be delivering a message to Washington.

Said Huckabee, “I’m thrilled to meet with energized seniors who are not going to stand by and let President Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid cut over $700 billion from Medicare and unleash the Frankenstein monster of Obamacare on the American public.  Seniors didn’t get a say in the matter, this law was passed against their will and without their consent.  November seniors will vote in droves to set the record straight and put us on a path to real reform.”

Offered 60 Plus Chairman Jim Martin, “Governor Huckabee is one of the most respected leaders among America’s seniors, and we are honored that he joined us on our travels.  Unlike the AARP, who pretends to side with seniors and then betrays them by lobbying for Obamacare and the almighty dollar, Governor Huckabee is a true hero to seniors, a man who has stood with them in the past and stands with us today.”
