Orwell – Trump’s Show Trial – Illegal Immigration

Biden & The Democrats Orwellian Politics: Just read George Orwell’s 1984… he warned us.

Argentina: Just wow! “Argentine President Javier Milei on Wednesday announced the layoff of an additional 50,000 state employees, advancing his effort to ‘reduce the state in half.’ The move comes as part of the president’s ongoing strategy to cut public spending and reduce the national deficit.

IF only we could elect a President and Congress that would be willing to cut our federal government and fight for reducing spending and our deficit.

If only… read a great article below.

Trump Show Trial: Many asked about why I raised this issue at all. Justice must be blind and IF we ever lose trust in our judicial process, we have a big problem.

Biden is ignoring the Supreme Court and “forgiving” student loans by transferring the liability to taxpayers who didn’t get to party for four years at some college… now at our expense.

Jurors in the Trump trial didn’t get to see evidence that the Trump defense team wanted to introduce because the judge excluded it in advance while allowing all kinds of irrelevant but prejudicial evidence against Trump.

Bannon refuses a Congressional subpoena and is thrown in jail. Garland refuses a Congressional subpoena while Hunter Biden walks out before testifying and NOTHING happens.

The politicization of our legal system and several federal agencies is a problem.

Think about this, if Obama was convicted for a variety of alleged crimes, Democrats would be burning down cities and looting Target stores.

When President Trump was found guilty, his supporters raised almost $200,000,000.00+ million in 48 hours to support him.

Please read some of the articles below. The analysis and facts are damning.

Enough said.

Biden admin offers ‘mass amnesty’ to migrants as it quietly terminates 350,000 asylum cases

While the Biden administration is attempting to look like it’s getting tough on the border, behind the scenes it’s operating a program of “mass amnesty” for migrants, The Post can reveal.

Data shows that since 2022, more than 350,000 asylum cases filed by migrants have been closed by the US government if the applicants don’t have a criminal record or are otherwise not deemed a threat to the country.

This means that while the migrants are not granted or denied asylum — their cases are “terminated without a decision on the merits of their asylum claim” — they are removed from the legal system and no longer required to check in with authorities.

The move allows them to legally, indefinitely roam the US without fear of deportation, effectively letting them slip through the cracks.

“This is just a massive amnesty under the guise of prosecutorial discretion,” according to Andrew Arthur, a former immigration judge who works for the Center for Immigration Studies.

“You’re basically allowing people who don’t have a right to be in the United States to be here indefinitely,” he added to The Post.

Biden Is Blowing Smoke on the Border

In January, President Joe Biden pretended to throw up his hands at the border crisis he had created by undoing all of Donald Trump’s executive orders and the Remain in Mexico policy. “I’ve done all I can do, just give me the power,” he then claimed, while trying to get Congress to sign a bill that would further entrench the disorder and abuse of asylum claims his policies initiated.

It turns out there is something more Joe Biden can do: He can blow more smoke through the use of executive orders, in a desperate attempt to hide the mess his administration created.

Already, some are bragging or falsely complaining that Joe Biden is “shutting down” the border with his executive order. The New York Times calls it a “dramatic election-year move” that shows how drastically immigration politics have shifted in the United States and “echoes an effort backed by President Donald J. Trump.” Would that it were so.

The foreign-born percentage of the population of the United States has ballooned to a historic high as of March 2024 — 15.6 percent of the U.S. population, or 51.6 million people. That’s roughly equivalent to California (the most populous state in the union) and Pennsylvania (the fifth-most populous). Many millions of them have no legal right to live here, and exist in a legal limbo.

Biden’s border order: Too little, too late, too political

He’s fundamentally transforming America

For more than three years, President Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas have told the country they do not have the power to stop the flow of migrants entering the country unlawfully unless Congress passes new laws. Funny how Mr. Biden had no problem using his power to cancel former President Donald Trump’s border restrictions by executive order, but as the election nears, Mr. Biden has suddenly discovered the power to do something after all.

President Biden has signed an executive order that appears to be nothing short of amnesty. The order will supposedly “cap” the number of migrants at 2,500 per day (they will still cross the border and break current immigration laws). Will the president also “cap” the amount of fentanyl and other drugs and the number of human traffickers, criminals and terrorists who appear to be slipping in? These “gotaways” may never be identified or caught unless they commit new crimes.

Writing for the Center for Immigration Studies, Don Barnett said: “The Biden administration is doing an end-run around the nation’s immigration laws — by giving migrants work permits in record numbers.”

Wall Street Admits The Biggest Economic Shocker: All Jobs In The Past Year Have Gone To Illegal Aliens

For much of the past year we had been pounding the table on two very simple facts: not only has the US labor market been appallingly weak, with most of the jobs “gained” in 2023 and meant to signal how strong the Biden “recovery” has been, about to be revised away (as first the Philly Fed and now Bloomberg both admit), but more shockingly, all the job growth in the past few years has gone to illegal aliens.

We first pointed this out more than a year ago, and since then we have routinely repeated – again, again, and again – yet even though we made it abundantly clear what was happening…

…That’s about to change, however, because with just under 5 months left until the election, and with immigration by far the hottest political topic out there, others are finally starting to connect the dots we laid out more than a year ago.

The first Wall Street analyst daring to point out that the employment emperor is naked, is Standard Chartered’s global head of macro, Steve Englander who in a note titled simply enough “Immigration leading to labor-market surge” (and available to pro subscribers in the usualk place), writes that according to his estimates “undocumented immigrants account for half of job growth in FY24 so far” (the actual number is far higher but we understand his initial conservatism), and adds that “asylum seekers and humanitarian parolees explain the surge in undocumented immigrants” before concluding that the continued rise in EAD approvals likely will extend strong employment growth in 2024. In other words, “strong employment growth” for American citizens, always was and remains a fabulation, and the only job growth in the US is for illegals, who will work for below minimum wage, which also explains why inflation hasn’t spiked in the past year as millions of illegals were hired.

Argentina’s Milei To Cut 50,000 State Jobs Amid Legislative Challenges

The move is part of the president’s ongoing strategy to cut public spending and reduce the national deficit.

Argentine President Javier Milei on Wednesday announced the layoff of an additional 50,000 state employees, advancing his effort to “reduce the state in half.” The move comes as part of the president’s ongoing strategy to cut public spending and reduce the national deficit.

This latest round of cuts follows a March announcement in which Milei proposed slashing 70,000 jobs from Argentina’s public sector work force, which employs approximately 3.5 million people. According to Infobae, 25,000 positions have been cut since March’s announcement.

As a result, public employees rejected the measure and some of the largest unions in the country have called for protests. “We knew that the program was going to generate social tension. Bringing the number of ministries to half was not free,” the president said during his speech at the Latam Economic Forum in Buenos Aires.

Since taking office six months ago, Milei has pledged to fix Argentina’s severe economic issues, including an inflation rate that has surged to a three-decade high of over 250 percent and a poverty rate impacting 57 percent of the population. To end the crisis, Milei has slashed state subsidies, devalued the currency, and closed several state agencies.

Trump flips his 2020 stance, launches absentee ballot and early voting push

In urging early voting in his 2024 election rematch with Biden, Trump vows that he’ll make sure ‘your ballot is secure’

Former President Trump is urging Republicans to use “every appropriate tool to beat the Democrats,” which the presumptive GOP nominee says includes early voting and absentee balloting.

The former president’s 2024 campaign and the Republican National Committee (RNC) on Tuesday announced the launch of what they call their “Swamp the Vote USA” effort.

It’s a major reversal from Trump’s stance four years ago, when he repeatedly condemned early-in-person voting and mail-in balloting and said they were to blame for what he argued was massive election fraud that led to his defeat at the hands of President Biden.

“Republicans must win and we will use every appropriate tool to beat the Democrats because they are destroying our country,” Trump argued in his statement.

And he emphasized that “whether you vote absentee, by mail, early in-person or on election day, we are going to protect the vote. We make sure your ballot is secure and your voice is heard. We must swamp the radical Democrats with massive turnout. The way to win is to swamp them, if we swamp them with votes they can’t cheat. You need to make a plan, register, and vote any way possible. We have got to get your vote.”

Democrats have voted early in greater numbers than Republicans the past couple of election cycles, while Republicans have tended to come out in greater force on Election Day in November.

Laptop deniers conspired to make Hunter Biden news disappear. They can’t now

Media refused to follow up proof that Hunter Biden laptop was real and didn’t ask intel officials about their letter

Watching the coverage this week out of Delaware was like finding oneself in a parallel universe. There were ABC, NBC, CBS, the Washington Post and other news outlets reporting matter-of-factly that the Hunter Biden laptop showed no evidence of tampering and was both real and authentic.

These are the same outlets, and some of the same reporters, who eagerly spread the false claims that the laptop was “Russian disinformation.”

Yet, what followed the testimony of FBI agent Erika Jensen was absolute crickets. There was no effort to track down the signatories of the now-debunked letter from former intelligence officials just before the election. In the letter, figures such as Leon Panetta, former CIA director in the Obama administration, claimed that the letter had all the markings of a Russian disinformation effort by intelligence services. (Panetta continued to make the assertion even in late 2023 in pushing what the federal government is now calling a “conspiracy theory.”)

There was no attempt by the media to confront associates of the Biden campaign (including now Secretary of State Antony Blinken) who pushed a long effort to get former intelligence officials to sign a letter.

There was no attempt to question President Joe Biden, who made this false claim in the presidential election to deflect any questions about the evidence of corrupt influence peddling on the laptop.

Years ago, I wrote that the Biden campaign had pulled off the single greatest political trick in history. As I wrote back then, the key to this Houdini-esque trick was to get the media to invest in the deception like audience members called to the stage.

Gingrich says Trump stronger after conviction: This ‘may backfire on the left’

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) said he thinks the guilty verdict delivered to former President Trump this week only makes him stronger and the conviction may end up backfiring on the left.

Gingrich joined John Catsimatidis on WABC 770 AM’s “Cats Roundtable,” where they discussed the jury’s decision to convict Trump on all 34 felony counts against him for falsifying business records related to a hush money payment to conceal an alleged affair with porn actor Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election.

Gingrich commended the former president on how he has handled himself since the verdict.

“Trump handled all of this with such dignity and such endurance, that I think he actually grew in stature that people realize … this guy’s taking a tremendous beating, just for the right to try to save the country,” he said.

Gingrich argued “in a funny kind of way” the hush money trial and conviction may “backfire on the left and leave them, I think, weaker than they were if they never [had] gone down this road. And that’s a big factor.”

On the Trump Verdict

My job is to synthesize political developments and analyze them. I’ll confess that right now, I’m at a loss. We’ve encountered countless highly unusual or unprecedented moments in our politics over the last eight years or so — but this one is unlike anything we’ve ever witnessed. Quite literally. A former President of the United States, and a current leading contender for the presidency, has been convicted of 34 felonies by a New York jury. The ‘crimes’ in question were internal corporate bookkeeping mis-categorizations ‘committed’ nine years ago. There was no victim in these bookkeeping mis-categorizations, which were subsequently deemed records falsifications. Misdemeanors. They stemmed from a sexual encounter Donald Trump had with a porn star, which he sought to cover up via a nondisclosure agreement. The woman was paid six figures to abide by the agreement. The money was furnished to her by Trump’s sleazy personal lawyer. Trump then reimbursed said sleazy lawyer over a period of time. This is all very sordid business. None of it was criminal. Those reimbursement payments were categorized as legal fees, as selected from a pre-populated drop-down menu embedded in the company’s software. They were not listed as “hush money payments to a porn star.”

According to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, a hardcore anti-Trump partisan who campaigned as such, that constituted a crime. Others disagreed. Bragg’s predecessor in that office looked at the same facts and chose not to pursue a case. The federal Department of Justice looked at the same facts and chose not to pursue a case. The Federal Elections Commission looked at the possibility that these actions represented a campaign finance violation, and chose not to pursue even a civil case or a fine. But Bragg exploited his authority — usually reserved in his worldview for downgrading charges, including for violent crimes — to charge these long-ago misdemeanor-at-worst acts as felonies. Why not stick with misdemeanor charges (which are rarely prosecuted by Bragg)? Because those statutes of limitations expired in 2019. To make a case viable during this election cycle, which I believe has been the entire point from the beginning, they had to be felonies. So Bragg invented what even the New York Times acknowledged as a never-before-attempted legal theory under which the bookkeeping mis-categorizations were part of a conspiracy that involved another crime. That turned them into felonies under this strained, untested bank shot.

34 REASONS the Bragg-Biden Show Trial Should Have Been TOSSED OUT — Each One Alone Providing Grounds for a Mistrial

1. Unconstitutional Gag Order that prevented President Trump from criticizing the trial, exposing the many conflicts that should have forced the judge to recuse himself, and the railroading of his fundamental due process rights.

2. Judge Merchan’s many, many conflicts of interests – all of which were disqualifying. His daughter, Loren Merchan, is President of Authentic Campaigns, a political consulting firm that hires the likes of the Biden-Harris Campaign, Adam Schiff, Ilhan Omar, and many other far left Democratic lawmakers. Loren’s firm has made tens of millions off these clients – Juan Merchan, through his daughter, had a direct financial stake in the outcome of this trial, a flagrant breach of the canons of legal ethics, both under the ABA and NY State, that under any other judge would have been grounds for a recusal.

3. Judge Merchan’s wife was previously employed by Letitia James, the Attorney General of New York State who campaigned on “getting” Donald Trump.

4. Bragg’s Lead Prosecutor was Matthew Colangelo, the former #3 official at the DOJ. We are told Colangelo graciously decided to step down from his prestigious office to work for a lowly state DA’s office – of course, a reasonable inference would be that he was directed to do so by the Biden Regime to persecute his leading political opponent in Donald John Trump.

Costello claims Trump hush money judge ‘totally overreacted’ to his testimony

Robert Costello, a former legal adviser to ex-Trump fixer Michael Cohen, said the judge in former President Trump’s hush money trial “totally overreacted” while admonishing him for his courtroom behavior during his testimony.

Costello pointed out several instances he believes Judge Juan Merchan targeted him during his time in the Manhattan courtroom. One instance involved the judge allegedly accusing the witness of trying to stare him down.

“I guess I muttered … ‘Jeez’ … That’s all I did. The judge then went on a rant … I had to turn to my right to look at him,” Costello told hosts John Catsimatidis and Rita Cosby Friday on the “Cats and Cosby Show.” “That’s what you normally do when somebody’s speaking to you.”

He continued, “He immediately said, ‘Are you trying to stare me down?’… [I said], ‘No. Can I explain?’ And he said, ‘No. This is not a discussion.’”

Costello added that the judge also alleged that he rolled his eyes — which he argued, Merchan wouldn’t have been able to see.

Bragg’s thrill kill in Manhattan could prove short-lived on appeal

The conviction of former President Donald Trump in Manhattan of 34 felonies produced citywide celebrations. This thrill-kill environment extended to the media, where former U.S. Attorney Harry Litman told MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace that it was “majestic day” and “a day to celebrate.” When I left the courthouse after watching the verdict come in, I was floored by the celebrations outside by both the public and some of the media.

The celebrants would be wise to think twice before mounting this trophy kill on the political wall. The Trump trial is a target-rich environment for an appeal, with multiple layers of reversible error, in my view.

I am less convinced by suggestions that the case could be challenged on the inability of Trump receiving a fair trial in a district that voted roughly 90 percent against him. The problem was not the jury, but the prosecutors and the judge.

Some of the most compelling problems can be divided into four groups.

Clean Voter Rolls Matter

Dirty voter rolls make for dirty elections. Sloppy registration and accountability procedures and/or willful blindness to loaded-up voter rolls are key ingredients for mischief, manipulation, and other voting “irregularities.”

Bloated, inaccurate voter registrations can create the conditions that undermine public confidence in the already badly damaged reputations of officials and agencies administering our elections. The federal voting law, the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA), acknowledges that–and that’s why Section 8 of that law requires the states to make “a reasonable effort to remove the names of ineligible voters from the official lists of eligible voters.”

Mostly, these ineligible voting registrations are for people that have died or changed residence. The law requires registrations to be cancelled when voters fail to respond to address confirmation notices and then fail to vote in the next two general federal elections. In 2018, the Supreme Court upheld such removals.

Judicial Watch has been successful in the removal of up to four million ineligible voters from voter rolls in New York, California, Pennsylvania, Colorado, North Carolina, Kentucky, Ohio, DC, and elsewhere.

‘You can do anything here!’ Why Lithuania is the best place in the world to be young

In the shade of a tree on a warm day in Vilnius, Lithuania, I’m having coffee with the happiest twentysomethings in the world. Given the weather (perfect) and the beverage (cheap), it is hard to feel anything but happy. It is harder still if, like 23-year-old Simona Jurkuvenaite, you have just been handed €21,000 from the Lithuanian government to direct your debut short film about the country’s teenagers.

“This is a great place,” she says, gesturing around the manicured square where we’re sitting, on the edge of the city’s new town. “It’s pretty awesome that you can get these kinds of opportunities here.”

So good are the opportunities and so high is the level of optimism that Lithuania topped this year’s World Happiness Report rankings for the under-30s. The country’s gen-Zers and millennials rated themselves 7.76 out of 10 on the happiness scale, miles ahead of the UK and the US, at 32nd and 62nd respectively. While the report sounded alarm bells about young people’s welfare in the west, Lithuania’s twentysomethings could set to work meme-ifying and TikTokking about the confirmation that they had it pretty good.
