Wisconsin Seniors Tell Baldwin to Take the State’s Lead and Stop the Wasteful Spending

60 Plus Association launches $535,000 ad campaign in Badger State

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Wisconsin seniors told Rep. Tammy Baldwin to follow Wisconsin’s lead and stop the wasteful spending in a new 60 Plus Association television ad that was launched today.  Highlighting Sen. Baldwin’s decision to support a $1 trillion stimulus, $700 billion in Medicare cuts and the $2 trillion health care law, the $535,000 ad campaign will begin running statewide on August 24.

“Rep. Tammy Baldwin could learn a thing or two from the way things are done in her home state,” said Jim Martin, Chairman and Founder of the 60 Plus Association.  “Wisconsin made tough choices that helped the state balance the budget, but Rep. Baldwin, who voted for a $1 trillion stimulus and $2 trillion health care law, hasn’t carried those same principles to Washington.”
