Jim Martin: “Democrats refusing to use the Obamacare exchanges they created is like a chef refusing to eat at his own restaurant. Americans want off this train wreck now.”

(Alexandria, Virginia) — Reports continue to circulate that Democrat leaders in Congress were looking for ways to exempt themselves and their staffers from purchasing their health insurance from the Obamacare exchanges they themselves created, to avoid losing their current federally subsidized healthcare coverage.  This brought a strong response from 60 Plus Chairman Jim Martin, leader of the nation’s largest and most trusted conservative alternative to the liberal AARP:

“Well it’s now accepted truth by both sides of the aisle that Obamacare is a train wreck, and Americans want to get off now!  It was bad enough when the White House was granting Obamacare waivers left and right to their liberal friends who helped carry their water during the legislative battle, but now the life raft has sailed straight into the offices of the Democrats in Congress to save them from their own creation.  The hypocrisy is deafening.

“Obamacare has failed in every way and every day continues to fulfill its destiny of being the full-blown train wreck that even its Democrat creators are acknowledging.  The Democrats’ attempt at selective repeal of Obamacare for themselves so they can preserve their own cushy, taxpayer financed healthcare plans is elitism at its most corrupt. They have demonstrated with crystal clarity why they should be turned out of office.

“America asked for healthcare solutions, but Obama, Pelosi and Reid gave them a train wreck instead.  Actions speak louder than words, the creators of Obamacare are now running from it in droves while still forcing it down the throats of seniors and Americans of all ages who know see the big lie that Obamacare is. If Congress wants off the train wreck, then so do ALL Americans.  Full and complete repeal is the only acceptable path.”
