Trump is NOT a Racist: Regardless of how often the mainstream media and liberal, progressive Democrats say it, President Trump is NOT a racist.
I am NOT defending his tweets, rhetorical or otherwise. He may not be thoughtful or careful enough in his wording, his off the cuff or twitter comments can be easily manipulated and we know for a fact, he is not politically correct.
However, President Trump and his policies have accomplished more for the African Americans, Hispanic/Latino Americans and Asian America communities than any other President in decades. Creating American jobs, reforming the regulatory environment and providing honest and affordable health care choice matter EVERY day for EVERY American. Not to mention appointing rule of law judges that defend our great Republic. And that’s what matters.
President Trump’s linguistic style and demeanor has been both an asset and liability. And his Twitter feed is something many wish would go away. Again, no excuse for his stupid tweets or lack of judgement on what should and shouldn’t be said.
But it’s hard to argue with his policy successes, in spite of the Democrats constant strategy of “resist” at every turn, regardless of what policies they supported in the past. Their obstructionism and petty politics should NOT be rewarded. It hurts America.
The Democrats and their allies on the left have so abused the term “racism” and have used it so often to divide this country when they could be doing so much more to unite us. Just because the looney left says so, doesn’t make it so.
Let the record and the facts speak for themselves. President Trump is NOT a racists. President Trump is “winning” regardless of what the progressive left says and their endless efforts to “resist”.

President Donald Trump clearly didn’t like the way House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s fight with “The Squad” was playing out for him.
After Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., accused Pelosi of being “disrespectful” to young women lawmakers of color, Democrats on Capitol Hill rallied to Pelosi’s corner and distanced themselves from the four congresswomen who have become the latest avatars of liberal politics in Republican attacks.
That was the opposite of the political dynamic he needs as he faces re-election he wants the Democratic Party stuck to its progressive fringe so that he can portray his opponents as too extreme to lead the country — and he moved quickly to flip the script…
…All four lawmakers listed issues they are working on — from health care to immigration — that they believe the president is trying to distract from.
It doesn’t require anyone else to explain Trump’s thinking. He provided a road map after receiving a cascade of criticism from Democrats and independent commentators.
“So sad to see the Democrats sticking up for people who speak so badly of our Country and who, in addition, hate Israel with a true and unbridled passion. Whenever confronted, they call their adversaries, including Nancy Pelosi, ‘RACIST,’” Trump tweeted Sunday night.
What real racism looks like, from a member of ‘the squad’
Finally! Racism perfectly demonstrated by Rep. Ayanna Pressley, one of the four congressional leftist House Speaker Nancy Pelosi calls “the squad.”
“This is the time to redefine that table,” she said. “Because if you’re going to come to this table, all of you who have aspirations of running for office, if you’re not prepared to come to that table and represent that voice, don’t come, because we don’t need any more brown faces that don’t want to be a brown voice. We don’t need black faces that don’t want to be a black voice. We don’t need Muslims that don’t want to be a Muslim voice. We don’t need queers that don’t want to be a queer voice.”
“If you’re worried about being marginalized and stereotyped, please don’t even show up because we need you to represent that voice.” In short, capitulate to our ideology or make yourself scarce. You don’t count. You will not be heard.
There it is, once and for all. Only people with the correct opinions as dictated by radical leftists, one of the infamous and ridiculous “AOC squad,” will be allowed to be black or brown or whatever their grievance group. Pressley’s pronouncement made clear that the American Left is now admittedly and proudly totalitarian. No black, brown, Muslim, or gay person can be heard if he dares to deviate from the party line. What is the party line? You’re all victims, you blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, and gays. You must rage against everything for which this country stands. America is a racist, homophobic country, forever tainted by the sin of slavery. That 600K-plus Americans died to end it in 1865 are never acknowledged by this crowd. These leftists are addicted to their own malevolent hatred and the spotlight that their media allies are so happy to provide for them. They think they are heroines, this squad of ignorant anti-Americans.
Surrounded as they are by sycophants who hang on every silly word they utter, they believe themselves to be the face of the Democratic Party. It seems in fact that they are. They mean to eject the old, white folks from their Congress — along with any black or brown person who might share their perspective. They even accused Pelosi of being racist! And still she embraced them and went to bat for them on the floor of the House. That she thought this was a smart move only reveals that she is past her cagey prime.
Democrats Are One Hundred Percent Wrong about Racism
To say that the Democrats are obsessed with race these days is the equivalent of saying the sky is blue.
I’m a racist. You’re a racist. Donald Trump’s a racist. Nancy Pelosi was a racist until she attacked Trump for racism. Your neighbor’s a racist. Your insurance broker’s a racist. Your dentist’s a racist as well as your periodontist. All white males are racist. Some white females are racists, especially those married to white males. Everywhere a racist.
Never mind that many of those people have no history of racism. It doesn’t matter. Never mind that their families came here in 1923 to flee the Armenian Holocaust or mass starvation in Ukraine, they owe reparations for slavery. It’s all about racism—yours.
The Dems’ presidential campaigns are based around proving the other man or woman is more of a racist and vice versa, or about showing you’re not so racist as people say you are, even if you are or even if you pretended to be a race you weren’t. And don’t you dare criticize Ilhan Omar or you’re a triple-racist even if her ideas are more racist than anyone else’s. Got it?
Trump and the ‘Racist Tweets’
There’s a difference between racist and just stupid.
What does “racist” even mean anymore?
Racism is the headline on President Trump’s Sunday tweets — the media-Democrat complex assiduously describes them as “racist tweets” as if that were a fact rather than a trope. I don’t think they were racist; I think they were abjectly stupid.
Like many Americans, I am tired of being lectured about racism by racists and racialists, individuals whose full-field explanation for all life’s issues is this matter of genetic happenstance that should be increasingly irrelevant in a pluralistic society.
Is it “racist” to tell people who have contempt for the country — who abhor the common culture that makes us American — that they ought to go back to where they came from? It has nativist and reactionary overtones, but I don’t think it is racist. I’ll grant this much, though: It is closer to actual racism than the Left’s usual demagogic claim: I am a racist if I extend to a non-white nincompoop like Ilhan Omar the courtesy of taking her seriously as an individual and a public official, as if it were her race rather than the idiocy of what she says that moves me to dissent.
It would be racist to tell the progressive “Squad” that they don’t belong in our country because of their race or ethnic roots. I don’t understand Trump to have done that. He is attacking their radicalism, which they wear like a badge of honor.
No One Really Wants to ‘Send Her Back’
Don’t exaggerate the significance of raucous chants.
The president can be very entertaining, but I don’t pay much attention to political rallies, including his famously raucous ones.
For the faithful, the rallies are fun spectacles, like rock concerts or ball games. I don’t think they can be taken too seriously, except perhaps as a gauge of the president’s support. Not in lieu of polls, but in conjunction. And with healthy skepticism: The polls have a history of undercounting Trump supporters, but the ardor of the Trump base on display at the rallies should not be confounded with national enthusiasm for the Trump presidency — though it may signal more openness to it, especially in light of the increasingly radical alternative.
Trump campaign, RNC raise $108 million in second quarter
President Tump’s campaign and the Republican National Committee (RNC) raised a combined $108 million in the second quarter, giving the president a significant advantage over Democrats in the money race as he seeks reelection in 2020.
Combined, the Trump campaign and the RNC are sitting on $123.7 million in cash reserves, the campaign also said in a statement Monday.
“Yet another record-shattering fundraising haul gives us a major advantage over the crowded field of Democrats as the RNC continues investing in our world-class field program and growing our incredible grassroots army,” said RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel. “As enthusiasm for this President continues to grow, these resources ensure President Trump and Republicans up and down the ballot are in a strong position to win heading into 2020.”
Huge Turnout Is Expected in 2020. So Which Party Would Benefit?
The 2020 presidential election is poised to have the highest turnout in a century, with the potential to reshape the composition of the electorate in a decisive way.
But perhaps surprisingly, it is not obvious which party would benefit. There are opportunities and risks for both parties, based on an Upshot analysis of voter registration files, the validated turnout of 50,000 respondents to The New York Times/Siena College pre-election surveys in 2018, census data, and public polls of unregistered voters.
It is commonly assumed that Democrats benefit from higher turnout because young and nonwhite and low-income voters are overrepresented among nonvoters. And for decades, polls have shown that Democrats do better among all adults than among all registered voters, and better among all registered voters than among all actual voters.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is facing rebuke from a fellow New York Democrat and longtime political ally, for distorting—for electoral gain—the record and policies of the Trump administration.
Assemblyman Dov Hikind, who represents Schumer’s home borough of Brooklyn in the New York legislature, penned an open letter to the senator after receiving a campaign mailer soliciting financial contributions. Hikind said the mailer attacked the “hard right” while omitting “vital information.”
In his letter, which was posted on the assemblyman’s Facebook page, Hikind castigated Schumer for promising to fight “for Democratic values” while providing little in means of substance.
“Senator Schumer, in your letter you promise to fight for Democratic values and go on at great length to fully villainize the current administration, but you left out certain facts that my fellow Democrats, to say nothing of all Americans, should also be aware of,” Hikind wrote.

Barr: “Resisting A Democratically Elected President” Is Destroying Our Norms And Institutions, Not Trump
In an interview aired Friday on “CBS This Morning,” Attorney General William Barr explains why he opened an investigation into the origins of the Russia investigation. He doesn’t say what the evidence is, but Barr tells CBS News legal correspondent Jan Crawford that there is evidence that makes him believe senior government officials may have acted improperly to authorize surveillance of President Trump’s 2016 campaign. He says that led to “spying” on the campaign.
He said the hyper-politicized nature of politics today is a danger to longstanding institutions and he took the job of attorney general because he is at the end of his career.
“Nowadays, people don’t care about the merits or the substance. They only care about who it helps, whether my side benefits or the other side benefits. Everything is gauged by politics, and I say that is antithetical to the way the Department [of Justice] runs, and any attorney general in this period is going to end up losing a lot of political capital,” Barr said. “And that’s one of the reasons I decided I should take [the job] on. At my stage in my life, it wouldn’t make any difference.”
Liberals cheer as antifa violence escalates
In the early hours on Saturday, police in Tacoma, Wash., rushed to the local Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility. An armed man was firebombing the building and nearby vehicles. Police killed him in a shootout after he attempted to set off a large propane tank connected to the facility. Antifa social media accounts subsequently identified their fallen “comrade” as Willem Van Spronsen.
The underreported incident marks a new chapter in the return of armed left-wing terrorism to the United States. It also triggered a flash of memory in my mind: I had crossed paths with Van Spronsen in December, when a group of rifle-carrying antifa militiamen tried to prevent me from filming their protest outside Seattle City Hall.
Little did I know then that I would soon have a more immediate encounter with antifa violence. Two weeks ago, I was left hospitalized with a brain hemorrhage after a mob of mask-clad rioters beat and robbed me while I was covering a demonstration in downtown Portland, Ore. The attack, claimed by Rose City Antifa, was caught on videos that went viral online.
Trump administration announces major crackdown on asylum seekers
The Trump administration on Monday announced a sweeping new policy tightening restrictions for asylum seekers, in a move that could drastically reduce the number of Central American migrants eligible to enter the United States in this way.
The new rule, published in the Federal Register, would require most migrants entering through America’s southern border to first seek asylum in one of the countries they traversed – whether in Mexico, in Central America, or elsewhere on their journey. In most cases, only if that application is denied would they then be able to seek asylum in the United States.
“Ultimately, today’s action will reduce the overwhelming burdens on our domestic system caused by asylum-seekers failing to seek urgent protection in the first available country, economic migrants lacking a legitimate fear of persecution, and the transnational criminal organizations, traffickers, and smugglers exploiting our system for profits,” Homeland Security Acting Secretary Kevin McAleenan said in a statement, describing the “targeted changes” as critical.
Brother of slain civil rights leader Medgar Evers endorses Trump
Civil rights activist Charles Evers is endorsing Donald Trump for president, touting what Evers refers to as the current Republican front-runner’s business acumen.
“I believe in him first of all because he’s a businessman. I think jobs are badly needed in Mississippi,” he said.
Evers is the brother of slain civil rights leader Medgar Evers, who was assassinated in front of his Jackson home in 1963.
When asked about Trump’s controversial remarks regarding immigration and an incident Tuesday when 30 black students were reported to have been removed from the candidate’s rally in Valdosta, Ga., Evers responded, “I haven’t seen any proof of him being a racist.”
On Gratitude and Immigration
Like both Rich and David, I consider it flatly inappropriate for the president of the United States to be telling Americans — rhetorically or otherwise — to “go back where you came from.” In consequence, you will find no defense of the president from me, either. What Trump tweeted over the weekend was typically stupid and it was typically counterproductive, and it deserves nothing less than has been aimed at it.
But not all criticisms are alike, and, while I agree with his conclusion, I nevertheless have quite a few problems with David’s broader argument. This passage especially bothered me:
Let’s also deal with the idea that the one actual immigrant Trump targeted owes a special debt of gratitude to the country and therefore temper her critiques of American politics and culture. I believe Ilhan Omar is a toxic presence in American politics. Her critiques are deeply misguided. But she should temper her critiques because they’re wrong, not because she’s an immigrant.
The blessings of liberty accrue to all Americans, including immigrants. And while all Americans should be deeply grateful for their freedoms and for American opportunity, it’s a simple fact that immigrant citizens have actually done something to earn their status. They’ve often migrated here at great personal cost, learned a new language, built a life in a new land, passed a test most Americans can’t pass, and then swore an oath that most Americans have never sworn.
By contrast, what must natural-born citizens do to earn their citizenship? Survive labor and delivery. That’s it. If anything, natural-born citizens should exercise the most gratitude. What did we do to earn our liberty?
I disagree with almost all of this. Legally, Ilhan Omar has exactly the same rights as someone born here. And she should, without exception. Culturally, though, the idea that Omar does not “owe a special debt of gratitude to the” United States is ridiculous, as is the idea that Omar’s views of the United States should not be affected by that debt. Of course she should be grateful! The United States saved her from a warzone, let her stay, accepted her as a citizen, and then elected her to Congress. If one can’t be grateful for that, what can one be grateful for?
New challenges for Moscow with arrest of ‘Russian trolls’ in Libya
Security forces of Libya’s internationally recognized Government of National Accord (GNA) reportedly arrested two Russian men in Tripoli in May, though the arrests were not announced until early July. Tripoli authorities claim that the Russians possessed laptops and memory sticks that revealed their work in a Russian “troll factory” that allegedly sought to influence upcoming elections in Libya and a number of African countries.
The Foundation for National Values Protection, a Russian nongovernmental organization that is a part of Fabrika Trollei — Russian for “troll factory” — confirmed the arrest of two staff members, stating they were apprehended while “carrying out opinion polls.” A letter stamped by the attorney general’s office and later obtained by Bloomberg revealed that the two Russians were involved, with the support of Russian officials, in securing a meeting with Saif al-Islam Gadhafi, the son of Moammar al-Gadhafi.
Fabrika Trollei is an umbrella organization for a collection of media sites and political organizations connected to Yevgeny Prigozhin. The Kremlin-linked Russian tycoon was placed on the US sanctions list last year for his alleged involvement in Russian interference in the 2016 US presidential election.
Lawsuit: 100,000 noncitizens registered to vote in Pennsylvania
More than 100,000 noncitizens are registered to vote in Pennsylvania alone, according to testimony submitted Monday in a lawsuit demanding the state come clean about the extent of its problems.
The Public Interest Legal Foundation, which has identified similar noncitizen voting problems in studies of Virginia and New Jersey, said Pennsylvania officials have admitted noncitizens have been registering and voting in the state “for decades.”
But state officials have stonewalled PILF requests for access to the data that could expose the problem, the group says in a lawsuit filed in federal court in Harrisburg.
“For months, Pennsylvania bureaucrats have concealed facts about noncitizens registering and voting — that ends today,” PILF President and General Counsel J. Christian Adams said.
He said Pennsylvania had already admitted to a “glitch” dating back to the 1990s that had allowed noncitizens applying to renew driver’s licenses to be offered the chance to register to vote. Mr. Adams said he now wants to find out how bad the problem is overall.
Pennsylvania officials wouldn’t respond to the lawsuit, nor to the 100,000 noncitizen number.

In Russia’s growing shadow, Lithuania modernizes its defenses
VILNIUS, Lithuania — As Russia builds up its military power in Kaliningrad and its Western Military District and gains influence with its neighbor Belarus, Lithuania continues to invest a great deal in the modernization of its defensive capabilities with plans to increase defense spending in the years to come.
Spurred by Russia’s annexation of Crimea, Lithuania embarked on an ambitious modernization plan for its military in 2014. By 2017, the country had doubled its defense spending to more than $800 million, which put it in the top 10 list of defense spenders among NATO allies, measured as a percentage of GDP. In 2016, for example, the country’s investments amounted to one of largest increases within the Alliance, in relative terms.
And while Lithuania reached the NATO-member commitment to spend 2 percent of its GDP on defense in 2018, it won’t stop there, with goals to spend 2.5 percent by 2030.
The country also made improvements last year in its acquisition process by standing up a new centralized system and defense resource agency in charge of procuring armaments and managing defense projects with a goal of transparency, according to a Lithuanian Ministry of Defense white paper.
As the overall defense budget continues to rise, Lithuania is planning to spend 25 percent of it on modernization — a total of €2.5 billion — to include acquisition of weapons, equipment and the stockpiling of ammunition through 2022.
