Election Integrity IS An Issue: The President addressed the nation this week about concerns, anomalies, gamesmanship, and threats that raise serious doubts about our the integrity of our elections.
The American people deserve fair, transparent, and honest elections… period.
While MOST election reforms and rules should be implemented and passed at the STATE level, there are some basic, fundamental rules that EVERYONE should follow regardless of what state they live in that make sense to address federally.
ONLY U.S. citizens should have the right to vote in ALL elections.
Eligible citizens should be required to produce a photo ID (available for free nationally).
Dead people should NOT be on voter rolls… for any reason.
Election Day means Election DAY, and a federal standard should be applied to all.
There are all kinds of concerns and claims that are raised about how elections are administered, manipulated, and potentially rigged at various levels by various actors… domestic and foreign.
Americans deserve to have their votes counted… and not stolen by anyone for any reason. Convenience is NOT an excuse to create a system that allows for less than honest and transparent results.
So now we have to debate the nuances of how elections are run. Were some stolen while others rigged? Was there manipulation, or just benevolent access to voter rolls, electronic voting, and counting machines and lies or misrepresentations… ALL of which raise the question of our election integrity.
So, we slice and dice the language:
“Influence operations means that you’re trying to affect the outcome of how people vote or their sentiment about a presidential candidate.”
“It’s different than an interference operation, which is penetrating voting rolls and voter systems.”
The Democrats NOW argue it didn’t “Change(d) any votes,” which is a new and higher bar that some Democrats and progressives now argue.
That wasn’t always the Democrats’ definition of election interference.
When the Democrats lost, they said Russia “interfered” because they pushed propaganda (mainly on social media) to influence the discussions Americans were having about policy issues during the election. Their definition… then.
Ironic and interesting how the rules, norms, and definitions change depending on how the Democrats are doing in the polls and in elections.
Another example to remember… first the Democrats claimed there was “no fraud”… and later “no widespread fraud.” 😊
The White House posted documents that clearly show foreign “influence operations,” ballot integrity questions, and various rigged rules… all done with the intention of “influencing” if not “interfering” with elections.
What do we actually know:
– Hundreds of millions of American voter files are in the hands of foreign governments.
– Voting machines & ballot-counting systems were exposed to hacking & manipulation, demonstrated live and in court and before state legislative bodies.
– China & other foreign adversaries actively trying to meddle in elections through various means. China created fake driver’s licenses by the thousands and shipped them to the U.S.
– Evidence of fraud being buried, files erased, records destroyed, and audits hampered.
– Hundreds of thousands of non-citizens & dead people still active on voter rolls.
– No Voter ID, no Proof of Citizenship required.
– Tens of millions of mail-in ballots floating unsecured.
– China specifically targeted racial tensions, planning to — Allege that “White people hate Black people” — Incite demonstrations and marches to highlight racial divides — Increase conflict between police and anti-racism activists.
– CIA, FBI, and NSA manipulated intelligence. The NSA Admits: “We Deliberately Massaged” Intel out of Presidential Briefing to HIDE China’s Election influence in favor of Biden. “Deliberately Massaged” intelligence.
Read the documents yourself. Explore the allegations and proof submitted by witnesses. Understand the “excuses” used by partisan election administrators and judges about “allowing” certain questionable if not rigged processes to be used.
Take all or most of these questions OFF the table. Pass laws that eliminate the chance for any manipulation or rigging of the system for partisan reasons… it doesn’t matter if it favors Republicans or Democrats… the process and system should be fair and transparent.

President Donald Trump addressed the nation Thursday evening on “free and fair” elections, announcing the declassification of critical intelligence that reveals, as he said, “shocking vulnerabilities” related to “hacking, exploitation and foreign interference.”
“This vital information is for many years been covered up and hidden from you,” Trump said. “The American people are beautiful, our great American people. But that all changes right now.”
Trump did not claim China changed votes or altered election results. Instead, he argued Beijing engaged in an influence campaign aimed at shaping U.S. public perceptions.
Documents were posted to the White House website during the president’s speech.

I have spent 68 years studying and working on self-government, politics, and the patterns of history. At the moment, we seem deeply, bitterly, and narrowly divided.
However, I think we are on the edge of a breakout which will lead to the kind of dominance Thomas Jefferson’s movement developed between 1796 and 1812.
There is a huge difference between the shallow waves of daily events and the deep underlying currents which move institutions and people decisively. Seth Keshel’s work on voter registration is a great example of the power of looking at underlying patterns rather than the transient daily waves.
Ninety-five percent of the horse race polls fit into this temporary news category. They are captured by William Shakespeare’s “Macbeth,” when he says:
“Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player,
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.”

Massive Election Corruption Report Details 824 Findings Across 800 Pages of Search Warrants and Investigative Documents
A newly released 799-page report titled “An Attack Upon U.S Critical Infrastructure” details the 2020 election corruption and beyond.

Rubio Levels The Left, Pledges To Crush Global Marxist Terror Networks In Historic Address

Secretary of State Marco Rubio opened the Ministerial on the Resurgence of Political Terrorism at the State Department yesterday, warning far-left extremism and violence are on the rise. Here is an excerpt of his remarks:
For far too long our counterterrorism doctrine has had a blind spot — a blind spot when it comes to extremist violence from the political left.
Even today, the very idea that far-left terrorism could be a serious threat is treated as a right-wing fever dream, or worse, as a dangerous fascist conspiracy. It’s treated this way by many in the press, by many in academia and our universities, and by many of our legacy institutions. You will no doubt see the dogma rear its head in the coverage of this very conference.
In spite of the clear and the undeniable reality, in spite of the objective numbers and statistics, in spite of the fact that in this room today there are representatives from across the political spectrum, we will hear this organized — that this kind of organized violence and terror will be dismissed. It will be dismissed as a partisan fiction…
Academic Inquisition for Birthright Citizenship Dissenters
The Supreme Court has spoken on the question of birthright citizenship. Five justices concluded that the 14th Amendment guarantees citizenship to virtually everyone born on American soil. Four disagreed. (And yes, I mean four! Justice Kavanaugh agreed with the dissenters that the 14th Amendment itself does not mandate birthright citizenship for children of temporary visitors or those present in the country illegally.) That is how constitutional law works. Cases are argued, judges decide, and scholars continue debating what the Constitution actually means.
Or at least that is how it used to work.
In the wake of the Court’s decision, some legal academics have insisted that the losing side should not merely be answered but, also, punished. One of the most remarkable examples came from Fordham law professor John Pfaff, who declared that there “MUST be repercussions” for the law professors who argued that the 14th Amendment does not require universal birthright citizenship. Their work, he claimed, was “parasitic.” They should be “frozen out of academic life until they recant.” After criticism, Pfaff softened his rhetoric slightly but reaffirmed the basic proposition that scholars advancing what he regarded as bad arguments should suffer professional consequences.
Notice what is missing from this demand.
Not evidence of fabrication.
Not plagiarism.
Not academic dishonesty.
Not intentional misquotation of historical sources.
Rather, the offense is having advanced an interpretation of the Constitution that ultimately failed to persuade a majority of the Supreme Court.
That is an astonishing standard.
Rather Than Back Down, Trump Must Escalate His Campaign For Mass Deportations
Conservatives who supported Donald Trump primarily because of his pledge to conduct large-scale deportations of illegal aliens had a bit of a scare this week.
An illegal alien from Mexico was fatally shot last week by ICE immigration enforcement officers after he “weaponized his vehicle in an attempt to run over an ICE law enforcement officer.” Another illegal alien, this one from Colombia, was fatally shot this week after he attempted to flee from ICE agents in his vehicle. Both incidents took place during legal, targeted vehicle stops by agents. These types of stops are relatively routine in ICE’s immigration enforcement mission and have been relatively uncontroversial — until now.
In response to an uproar by the usual suspects on the left and the reliably spineless on the right, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin ordered ICE agents to cease most vehicle stops nationwide on Tuesday. According to multiple sources within ICE who spoke to Fox News and the Daily Wire, agents on the ground were frustrated by the directive, lamenting that it would cause a crash in arrests.

Wildfires are being drawn inexorably into the climate change hysteria as dueling experts seek to explain the warm, dry weather we have experienced this year.
One recent article correctly moved past the climate concerns to explain how “The truth about forest fires goes up in climate-change smoke.” The author, Ross McKitrick, a professor of environmental economics at the University of Guelph, Ontario, gets it right when he describes how the number of wildfires and area burned have trended down over the past few decades in Canadian forests. He uses numbers from the Canadian Wildland Fire Information System.
“Wildfires have been getting less frequent in Canada over the past 30 years,” McKitrick writes. “The annual number of fires grew from 1959 to 1990, peaking in 1989 at just over 12,000 that year, and has been trending down since. From 2017 to 2021 (the most recent interval available), there were about 5,500 fires per year, half the average from 1987 to 1991.”
The Real Threats Against SCOTUS Are Not ‘Bipartisan.’ They’re Coming From The Left
While the court would love to keep the blame for the rise in political attacks off the left, the evidence makes it clear that political violence is not merely a ‘both sides’ issue.
Supreme Court justices Elena Kagan and Amy Coney Barrett testified before the House and Senate Appropriations Subcommittees on July 14 to ask for a nearly $20 million increase in security after a landmark ruling session and amid rising political threats. Yet no one participating in the hearing seemed to acknowledge that the left is primarily to blame for the increase of such threats.
During the hearing, the justices and subcommittee members frequently referenced startling statistics on political violence towards judges across the United States. Chief Justice John Roberts’ 2024 Year-End Report on the Federal Judiciary noted that threats against judges across the U.S. have tripled in the past decade, and the U.S. Marshals Service investigated more than 1,000 threats against judges in the past five years.
“Those statistics sound abstract, but being on the receiving end of them is not,” Justice Barrett said. She recalled to the House having to wear a bulletproof vest on her way home after defending the Dobbs decision in 2024 and the disturbance that caused to her family. “I didn’t expect that performing this service was going to put me in the position of explaining to my children what a bulletproof vest was and why I had to wear one,” she said.
Hormuz, Malacca, and the Intractability of Geoeconomics in Geopolitics
When the Cold War ended, some foreign policy analysts suggested that geoeconomics had replaced geopolitics as the central theater in global competition. After having dominated for generations, the ideas of nineteenth- and twentieth-century strategists such as Halford Mackinder, Alfred Thayer Mahan, and Nicholas Spykman could be regarded as obsolete. Globalization and the information revolution, it was said, rendered geography and military hard power less important. Great-power kinetic conflict was a thing of the past, according to some analysts. The collapse of the Soviet Union meant that great-power ideological conflict was over, with Francis Fukuyama famously speculating about the arrival of a quasi-Hegelian “end of history.” China’s shift from communism to state capitalism towards the end of the Cold War and ensuing remarkable economic growth seemed to confirm that economic globalization was an irresistible, revolutionary force that would render great-power conflict a thing of the past. Despite the horrors of the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre, Western political and business leaders perceived this to be just an aberration on an otherwise inevitably liberal trajectory for China.
Those analysts were right to note the importance of globalization and geoeconomics, but wrong to downgrade the importance of geopolitics. The current conflict with Iran has revealed once again the geoeconomic underpinnings of global geopolitics. As Sinatra crooned in “Love and Marriage”—you can’t have one without the other. The two concepts are inextricably linked.
Iran and the Gulf Arab states understand the importance of geoeconomics to geopolitics. The Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz represent a strategic chokepoint through which twenty percent of the world’s oil flows. When that flow is interrupted, the economies of some very important countries—in Asia and in Europe—are directly negatively affected, and even oil exporters like the United States and Russia are indirectly affected because of the globalized oil market. Another combination of key waterways and strategic chokepoints is the Red Sea, the Suez Canal, and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait (between Yemen, Djibouti, and Eritrea), which connect the Mediterranean Sea with the Gulf of Aden, the Indian Ocean, and ultimately East Asia and the western Pacific Ocean. The global mayhem wrought by the Houthis in the Bab el-Mandeb beginning in late 2023 attests to this.
