Will Protest Votes Matter? Be Careful What You Wish For!

“The West is at a crossroads. The decisions we make in the next decade will define the next century.”

– Marco Rubio, U.S. Secretary of State

“Our ultimate goal is to help the dreamers but get path to citizenship for all eleven million or however many undocumented there are here.”

– Democrat U.S. Senate Leader Chuck Schumer

“Democracy extends the sphere of individual freedom, socialism restricts it. Democracy attaches all possible value to each man; socialism makes each man a mere agent, a mere number.”

– Alexis de Tocqueville

Protest Vote?: Let’s be realistic. President Trump is on his way out. At best, he will be in office for another two years. A “lame duck” president… a protest vote is a wasted vote.

The CNN article below shows some scary polling numbers… which need to be taken with a grain of salt… but still.

Senators are elected for a 6-year term… that protest vote can come back in bite you… as any Senator will serve another 4 years AFTER Trump, especially scary if the White House changes parties.

Democrats support open borders.

Democrats support more taxes.

Democrats support weaponizing government agencies.

Democrats support MEN in girls’ sports.

Democrats support the “Hamas Caucus.”

Democrats support killing government audits of so MANY programs.

Just be careful. Sitting home or casting a protest vote in today’s environment is VERY dangerous.

Early voting has already started… bank your vote… don’t think it doesn’t matter… it does!

Iranian Islamic Terrorist Endorse Democrats: NOT a joke.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps directly appealed to American voters in a 25+ letter before November’s midterm elections.

Think about this…

The largest state sponsor of terrorism worldwide.

A radical Islamic regime that has chanted “Death to America” for over 40 years.

A regime that has murdered tens of thousands of their own people for political control.

They fund Hezbollah, Hamas, and Houthis terrorists.

Provide arms to rebels in Iraq who target and kill American troops.

Just take a minute and consider the absurdity of the situation. The largest state sponsor of terrorism is encouraging American citizens to vote for Democrats… ostensibly to “stop Trump.”

This is crazy. This should be a no-brainer. These are terrorists, not someone having a policy disagreement. Elections have consequences… look at who’s supporting whom?!?

SEC MARCO RUBIO: The West forgot what made it great. We must rediscover our roots before we lose them

Today, too much of the West has come to feel ashamed of the very things that made us exceptional

On Wednesday, I traveled to the Pnyx, a hillside overlooking the towering columns of the Acropolis in Athens. There, I delivered a simple message: The West is at a crossroads. The decisions we make in the next decade will define the next century – and determine whether our civilization maintains its place at the head of the world, or resigns itself to a future of servitude and decline.

For thousands of years, the Parthenon has stood as a testament to the Western spirit, captivating the imagination of our civilization’s artists, philosophers, and statesmen. The American Founding Fathers were fascinated by classical antiquity: The most commonly cited author in the Federalist Papers was Plutarch, the Greek biographer of Greece and Rome’s greatest men. The legacy of ancient Greece is carved into the architecture of our capital city itself, immediately visible in the famous columns and domes of Washington, D.C.

We all know the familiar history. Athens gave us democracy. Plato and Aristotle gave us Western philosophy. The Greek city-states shaped our ideas of citizenship, law and republican government.

No, Trump didn’t invite Iran to bomb Los Angeles

The president says plenty. Why do his critics need to make things up?

President Donald Trump says enough things that make Democrats and their media enablers set their hair on fire. So why do they feel the need to make things up?

This week, California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) accused Trump of urging Iran to use nuclear weapons on his state. “After sending the National Guard and Marines to occupy California, Donald Trump is now saying our foreign enemies should ‘take out’ Los Angeles and San Diego,” Newsom declared. A statement put out by his press office added that Trump was “advocating for an attack on 10+ million U.S. residents in two of America’s largest cities.” Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-California) joined in the pile-on. “Donald Trump has gone beyond the pale saying Iran can ‘take out’ Los Angeles and San Diego,” the former House speaker said. All 43 California House Democrats issued a joint statement accusing Trump of having “invite[d] Iran to destroy two American cities.” And a Los Angeles Times headline blared: “Trump suggests letting Iran ‘take out’ Los Angeles and San Diego at campaign rally.”

No, he didn’t. Trump was making precisely the opposite point: that Americans are paying higher gas prices to stop Iran from being able to take out an American city. “Remember, with the war, it’s just artificial. It’s a little bit high,” he said Monday in Nebraska, referring to gas prices. “It’s a small price to pay for keeping the world safe, keeping our country safe. They could take out a city. Let them take — let it — let them take out Los Angeles. Let them take out San Diego. That’s — this is a very small price to pay, and it’s going to be over with very soon.” While his wording was a bit convoluted, no serious person could conclude that he was advocating an Iranian attack on America.

Mike Rogers clobbers Abul El-Sayed as ‘fake doctor’ who’d be jailed for treating patients during feisty Michigan debate

Republican Senate hopeful Mike Rogers slammed his Democratic foe Abdul El-Sayed as a “con man” for describing himself as a doctor — despite not having a medical license.

Rogers accused El-Sayed, who calls himself a “doctor,” of leaving voters with the impression that he practiced medicine despite never doing so outside of an internship.

“Well, he’s not really a doctor. He says he’s a physician,” Rogers scoffed. “[As a] matter of fact, if somebody came into his office and he tried to treat that patient, he’d go to jail.”

Democrats are taking big chunks of GOP voters in key Senate races, polls show

President Donald Trump has never had worse poll numbers with his base than he does ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.

And a growing volume of polls shows a significant portion of that base is preparing to cross over and vote for Democrats.

New York Times-Siena College polls released over the weekend showed between 9% and 16% of Republican likely voters said they favored the Democratic nominee in five key states: Alaska, Iowa, Kansas, Ohio and Texas.

And these aren’t the only polls to show a sizable crossover effect — especially in the middle of the country.

All told, Democratic candidates have led among GOP voters by double digits in four key Senate races, and they lead by an average of at least 9 points in seven of the top 10 races, according to a CNN review of polling in each state.

Democrats’ Red-State Strategy Relies on Deception and Dark Money

For the Democrats to win back control of Congress in November, they’ll have to win GOP seats in the so-called “red states”— the ones that reliably send Republicans to the House and Senate.

To do so, they’re relying on tactics that include deception and dark money, things they usually attack the Republicans over with great vigor when they employ them. As in Nebraska, where, as election analyst Jim Ellis described it, Democratic leaders were able “to persuade their U.S. Senate nominee to withdraw so the party could consolidate behind a stronger Independent candidate.”

In most parts of the state, as in places like Idaho and South Dakota, where the tactic has also been employed successfully, the national Democratic agenda has discredited the local party. Relying on so-called independents as their standard-bearers allows candidates like Dan Osborne, who’s running against incumbent GOP Sen. Pete Ricketts, to make the race competitive, especially now that a near-plurality of voters call themselves “Independents.”

Most of what Osborn believes still tracks with the views of the national Democrats he would caucus with if elected. He is running as an independent because it improves his odds, not because he has broken with the party. That is deceptive.

GOPs 2028 Presidential Field Getting Crowded

The list of Republicans weighing 2028 presidential bids to succeed President Donald Trump is growing, with nearly a dozen expressing interest or hinting they will run.

The Washington Times reported that Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., is the latest to say he is considering a run, and offered its own reading of polls that the GOP’s midterm prospects look increasingly bleak.

“If a bunch of goobers on my side of the aisle run, and I think they’re goobers, and one of the goobers might win, and I think I could do a better job, I would consider running,” Kennedy said in a television interview.

He said the president and Republicans have failed to adequately address the high cost of living.

“The American people, both sides, feel anger,” Kennedy said. “If they don’t feel anger, they feel deep melancholy. They feel like the Washington political leaders have let them down, that they don’t listen, they don’t care, they feel that way about Congress in particular.”

He added that a crowded field of Republican and Democrat candidates “will be good for both parties.”

Other potential GOP contenders include Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

Rubio declares West is ‘at an inflection point’ in Acropolis of Athens speech, warns Europe must ‘confront dangers’

Secretary of State Marco Rubio declared Wednesday that the West is at “an inflection point,” and urged European nations to join with the US in “confronting the threats of our age” during a major speech in Athens, Greece.

With the Acropolis providing a striking backdrop, Rubio called on Europe to “awaken from its long slumber and rekindle the fire that was here millennia ago,” in a highly allusive address that referred to both classical and American history — with allusions to both Achilles and The Alamo.

“We are at an inflection point, an inflection point not only in the history of my nation, but an inflection point in the whole of our civilization,” Rubio said as the setting sun threw the Parthenon into brilliant relief. “The threats we face today are every bit as real as they were on the dramatic stage of antiquity.”

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio speaks at a podium in Athens, Greece, with the Parthenon in the background.

“We want to win together; we must win together,” he added in the nearly 30-minute address delivered in what has been called the cradle of civilization.

Rubio’s remarks came amid speculation about a future presidential run — potentially as soon as 2028 — though he has dismissed talk of seeking higher office.

Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, a Staten Island Republican, shared a statement on X proclaiming Rubio not only “the best Secretary of State of my lifetime, but perhaps one of the best in our nation’s history.”

The Jack Smith Operation Shows Lawfare Will Only Get Worse

Conservatives have yet to build the institutions, infrastructure, and legal capacity needed to counter lawfare before it destroys more lives.

Lawfare grows more dangerous with every operation. This week’s disclosures about Jack Smith’s operation show how far that machinery reached.

We already knew about Smith’s sweeping indictments of President Trump on flimsy charges and many of the operation’s other abuses, including the secret seizure of phone records from Republican lawmakers, the review of text messages involving 44 members of Congress, and subpoenas seeking records on at least 430 Republican individuals and entities. This week, we also found out that Smith’s team of lawfare operators spied on nearly 50 journalists, including Mollie Hemingway of The Federalist.

They seized copies of 4,782 checks written by Americans who donated to Trump and Republican groups, exposing donors’ names, home addresses, bank and routing numbers, and signatures. These were ordinary Americans dragged into the lawfare simply because they wrote a check to support a political candidate. Smith also swept up records of people who had run pro-Trump ads. The sheer extent of the intrusions and abuses is incredible.

We can get furious about each round of revelations, with every new disclosure producing another round of outrage. But the real lesson, and the far more frightening reality we have to grapple with, is that lawfare keeps getting more sophisticated and more vicious.

What Do South Americans Know That U.S. Voters Don’t?

By all accounts, socialists and their brethren in the Democratic Party will sweep the upcoming midterm elections, which the press will describe as a stunning rebuke of President Donald Trump.

But down in South America, voters are going in the exact opposite direction, getting rid of their failed socialist governments and embracing conservative, free-market leaders in the mold of Trump.

Anyone want to guess why?

It wasn’t that long ago that we were being told that South America was “poised to swing decisively to the left” in what was described, lovingly by the press, as a “pink tide.” Socialists had been in control of Venezuela since 1998. In 2021, Chile and Honduras voted for leftist leaders. The next year, socialists won in Colombia and Brazil. Last year, almost the entire continent was ruled by leftist governments.

The leftist leaders all promised voters “more equitable distribution of wealth, better public services and vastly expanded social safety nets.”

But what they delivered was inflation, stagnation, and corruption.

Then a funny thing happened. One by one, South Americans started kicking the socialists out of office.
